The new Maya glitch is here! Now to easily farm OP10 Norfleets

As a Maya main I'm so glad there are still cool things to find in borderlands after a decade

"The year is 2052: check out this new glitch!" This game has secrets for a whole century.

Sad day for us Axton fans today, one of these days he'll have his shining moment in the spotlight.

Finally, characters not named Salvador have the capability to be busted at end game

Just imagine Krieg with infinite durations and stackable Kill Skills. Man that would be insane.

Tips for Hyperius: -Make sure youre super close (i have to be inside his sheild sometimes), and aim away from his body. -Slagging before helps (game also glitches if killed while slagged and repeatedly gives BA points for a completed slag challenge). -Use high pellet, fast shotgun, and antagonist with high deflection damage (my 840 worked great). -I noticed if it doesnt work the first few seconds, it either needs a reset or you need to back off and readjust your angle. If gates open after it doesnt work, run outside the arena, refill ammo, and try again.

Man this is what happens when one glitch ends up being discovered more end up getting discovered and it's so freaking cool expecially after so many years of the game and having nothing going on in the community is still able to synergize and combine bugs and glitches together to make something like this I mean gauge was one of the hardest characters in my opinion besides Creed to get to op8 or 10 I can't wait for them to figure out the next one YAY

Thats crazy at first i thought this was a reupload, but then read it again, and for Maya... fun fun, I was gonna boot up BL2 to try the Gaige glitch but now you have shown me the way of a light Auto-bomber build... might need to try this out

This is gonna help so much with the norfleet. I guess Maya is one of my best characters for Hyperious and Haderax now lol.

The greatest thing about glitches being found this far down the line is there’s a chance gearbox just doesn’t care enough to fix them

for those who dont want to/cant farm the items he brings up, any low capacity shield with a normal grenade will work (i was uvhm lvl 54, shield capacity 15k, toss grenade at feet and have at it, took about 5 minutes for a solid amount of stacks and killed hyperious without a proper loadout)

do you guys remember when immolate maya with a norfleet and bee could one shot hyperius back at like level 61 or 72 or something? and how that became impossible with further scaling? its nice to see that maya can once again be the best hyperius farmer, even tho its with a glitch

maya's audio bug can never be near as bad as the morningstar. this seems managable if it doesnt literally blow out your speakers

I remember when Joltz was doing a Maya playthrough and he was over leveled in Normal mode killing with blight phoenix saying he wished it was a thing in op10. Look at this!!

Was testing around and found something neat: I built up the glitched stacks then fully respec-ed my character and the stacks didn’t go away - even if no points were put into the corresponding skill. Not that you really need to with how broken the glitch already is, but that means you can build your stacks then move points into Accelerate and any healing skills just to make it that little bit more broken!

I feel like this kind of glitch would be something I’d do for gaige, just having a couple of stacks so I’m not just locked to anarchy. I’d probably have fun for a while being OP without trying on Maya, but I’d really only use it for making a Blight Phoenix a good mobbing build. I’ve never done rocket jumping in Bl2 but I think you could come up with an interesting mobbing build running and flying around with blight killing everything.

Maybe something worth checking out: In Borderlands: The presequal, claptrap has like 4 different skills that allow him to emit explosive novas, although his only kill skill is “death machine”, which boosts gun damage, reload speed, and movement speed by a small amount, it may still be worth checking to see if it works for him, not to mention the other 5 TPS characters

A leveled kerrblaster and low capacity, quick delay, high recharge rate sheild perfectly takes out my sheilds from the grenade, and recharges near instantly. you can use the grog/rubi on the turret to heal health

Amazing. Gonna be doing a lot of farming with this.

You should try only putting a skill point into one kill skill and stacking one and see if you lag less and see what kind of effects that would have on each individual kill skill

You could use the skill tree randomizer or something similar to give a different character one of the skills that causes the glitch (or put the kill skills onto maya or gaige)

Joltz, have you tried doing a weapon-drop shot (like the friendly fire glitch) with a weapon with some sort of delay, the Storm comes to mind (also novas, kinda?) Just theorising other potential ways to universally proc fake kill skills

I had a question with the gear and didn’t see anyone in the comments address it, so I did a bit of testing. Getting a lvl 60 slow hand is a bit tedious, so I found if you drop down to tvhm and get a lvl 50 slow hand then drop to normal mode and get a lvl 22 transformer it still works. May not be as efficient, but works really well!

I just find it amazing how even though this is a bug, borderlands just has perfect things to set them up. Like yeah heres a turret that gets one tapped which also counts as a fake kill skill.

Joltz, can you get second winds off of unoccupied vehicles like turrets or cars? If so, have you tested Kriegs ffyl dynamo garbage skill to see if that’d proc for him?

What is the music you have right at the end of your video there? I always hear it in your allegiance playthroughs. Not sure why I like it but I do.

Currently using this to clear the peak on op 5-10 instead of doing the grog rocket jump shenanigans and it is much more enjoyable

What you said about the glitch 'resetting' randomly must be what happened to me with a 400 stacked Gaige versus Voracidous. I was OP10 and he was OP0 - he downed me after five minutes and I just couldn't damage him past half way.

IMPORTANT DISCOVERY!!!: In borderlands the pre sequal, as claptrap you can destroy a vehicle with the blast move from “element of surprise”, which makes claptrap emit a nova of a random element upon breaking his shield, recharging it, or going into fight for your life. If you destroy the cubicle with this explosion you are able to stack fake kill skill, in this case being death machine/I’m rubber your glue

Has anyone tried Love Thumper nova? It's a long shot and I'm not sure how you'd stack it quickly, but it does damage allies so it might be different from other novas.

it sucks that we cant find any for axton when we all know that he would be one of the most fun vault hunters to do it with, gonna make the mongol look like childs play

Is there a certain angle you need to shoot to get this to work? I've only succeeded a couple of times but mostly doesn't seem to hit Hyperius even when i shoot inside his shield.

I was very interested to see how Blight Phoenix works with this glitch. Its a shame it breaks your game, at least you could just not spec into the game breaking skills

What about shield damage? If the glitch only works with "nova" damage, there are many ways to damage with shields. Is there anything replicate it in code?

Based on the numbers, this looks easier to get than with Gaige. As a Maya main, I'm super excited to try this later.

does the level of the Slow Hand matter or does it need to be level 60 with the level 50 Transformer? If so how do I get a level 60 Slow Hand? ive only managed to get a level 80 from OP0

Does Zer0's Unf0rseen skill work similar to Gaige's Shock and AAAAA and Maya's Backdraft in this glitch or not? i would really love seenig Zer0 stacking Killer , Grim and F0ll0wthr0ugh infinitly.

Hey joltz I know I'm late but I was testing a respec side to this and you can spec one of the kill skills and stack it then respec and not lose the fake kill skills.

I had a glitch with Zero not too long ago on pc, I had permanent shield regen at a quick rate but when I got downed by an enemy it stopped. It happened when I playing through the earlier parts of the d&d dlc with a friend on the map where you find erratic wisp skeletons(those who tp constantly, unsure of their real name) for the first time. Playing on low settings, hope this helps anyone finding what it could be.

Is it a must to have a practicable slow hand and a transformer or can you use any other items to stack

woah a fun way to farm for an op10 norfleet ! Back then i'd just pimpernel ahab (creamer for healing) on sal, or flakahab

Interesting video... Not sure if anyone has found a legit way to do it with the other Vault Hunters, however if you get those skills on them via a Skill Tree Randomizer that could be one way to do it.. As for doing it in Vanilla, not sure that is possible unless something has been overlooked

Im not sure if this glitch could work for the other hunters. None of them really have a secondary non-direct attack like Maya or Gaige. It might work with Zero's explosive hologram or Axton's nuclear turret but those are the only similar moves. Sal has nothing similar and Krieg has the fireballs but those specifically home in on enemies.

How do I find out a level 60 weapon? Do I need an extra character at that level?

Could you do the nova part with a shield or does it not activate certain skills?

Does the Hyperius thing only work on OP 10. I have everything and got ALOT of stack but it’s not well killing him

Just a thought, if I remember correctly a bunch of assets and mechanics from bl1 were used in bl2. With that in mind could this"fake kill skill" stacking possibly work in bl1?

This glitch makes the solo speed runs a lot faster now that's insane

have you tried using a nova shield to activate the kill skill? like Flame of the Firehawk on fire kreig

Could Zero use his clone detonation or does it REQUIRE that you use a "Character Generated Nova"?

I'm surprised the glitch doesn't work with Axton's Nuke, Zer0's Unf0reseen, or Krieg's Raving Retribution. Part of me wonders if anything like this works in TPS...

Man at this rate with these new glitches, the borderlands 2 characters will become the new raid bosses.
