Borderlands 3 All Character Intros Reaction 

PLEASE do more borderlands trailers! Borderlands 2 has some of the best character trailers of the series, along with an incredible intro scene that would be epic to react to!

Tiny Tina is by far my most favorite character in the Borderlands series, she is insane and her dialogue is hilarious, she truly is insane even by insane standards.

Fun Fact: Pain and Terror are actually Penn and Teller, the famous magicians, they got a spot in the game because they were in the studio at the same time this game was being made while doing the Voice acting in their own game the same Studio was making and because the then CEO is a massive fan of magic and magicians.

An.. interesting choice for a first look into Borderlands. Personally I'd recommend going for the intro cinematics to each of the games in order, they're all super cool action set pieces that showcase the playable characters of their respective game (the series has a rotating cast of characters, with each new entry adding new people as playables and having the older characters turn up as npcs). Each game typically has 4 classes, with some games adding new ones as dlc later on. There's also the Echo Logs for Gaige from Borderlands 2; basically a series of journal entries for her character, as she was the first dlc character added to the series (the main game had other journal entries for the other characters already) that give you some backstory on her, as well as a short video called "A Meat Bicycle Built For Two" that introduces Kreig, the 2nd dlc character for Borderlands 2. They're both hilariously dark, much like the series as a whole. Other than those, I guess check out the trailers for each game? Those are pretty great too.

I really love Ken's enthusiasm when he sees a character he likes.

Love this series especially borderlands 2. The villain in 2 is one of the best.

Fun fact: Ellie (2:07) is the daughter of Moxxi (1:45). In Borderlands 1 & 2 there was also Ellie's brother, beloved mechanic Scooter, but Scooter dies in the Tales from the Borderlands which story takes in between Borderlands 2 & 3.

Oh we need meat bicycle built for two from borderlands 2. Krieg is my favorite. I will admit when you guys said character intros I though you were talking about the vault hunter trailers they released not the clips for when you meet people

the games are fun, lots of little quips that add flavor and humor. eagerly awating the movie trailer.

I love Tina. Tiny Tina in BL2 was delightfully insane, but in 3 she was even more of a violent maniac. And oh, so adorable.

My favorite character is Gaige the MECHROMANCER! From Borderlands 2, one of the lines she can say on joining a Multiplayer game is this. Gaige: "I Say MECHRO, you say MANCER! MECHRO!" *No Reply* "...You guys suck!" She's just a delightful ball of anarchy(She literally has a skill tree called Anarchy)

Borderlands was one of my favorite series growing up. So glad you guys enjoyed it. Bl3 came out a year or two ago, so the best place for you guys to start would probably be from 1. And of course Ken picked 95% of the intros that were bosses. Lol

Just gotta say this, with the most of the people you see, some help you along the way and some your gonna have to fight, there’s only four characters you can pick to play as in the 3rd borderlands and it’s fl4k, Zane flynt, amara and moze, fun fact, maya and zero you can actually play as in borderlands 2 which was the previous one before this

Ah yes, the icy queen Aurelia Hammerlock. She was a playable vault hunter inthe Pre-Sequel who specialized in dealing cryo damage and sniping. She also had a unique function that allowed her to make her teamates her servants in Co-op play. I absolutely loved her cold and snobby attitude. I felt like an absolute boss running around and freezing and killing enemies with her.

Well, there're 3 games that came before Borderlands 3 in the order of release: Borlderlands 1 with 4 campaign DLCs (so more intros :D): The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot (not interesting from the lore point of view) The Secret Armory of General Knoxx Claptrap's New Robot Revolution Borderlands 2 with 4 campaign DLCs, 5 smaller ones and several adding new playable characters: Campaign DLCs: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep Smaller DCLs: TK Baha's Bloody Harvest The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax Character DLCs: Mechromancer Pack Psycho Pack (I REALLY, REALLY suggest trailer for this DLC) And apparently there was one more DLC released in 2019, so 7 years after main game release, which sets the story as connection between Borderlands 2 and 3: Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary And lastly there's full game that was released after Borderlands 2 and was considered as Borderlands 3 until proper BL3 was announced: Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel From lore point of view game acts as transition between Borderlands 1 and 2, so as title suggests, it's Brolderands 1.5 ;) It has following DLCs: Campaign DLCs: Claptastic Voyage Character DLCs Doppelganger Pack Baroness Pack Borderlands 3 has following DLCs to this day: Campaign DLCs: Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot Guns, Love, and Tentacles Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck Additionally Borderlands 3 introduced season events, but I'm yet to get here with my huge gaming backlog :( And 2 or 3 months ago next game in the series was announced: Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Overall I'm huge fan of the series for many things - interesting stories, crude humour, unique graphical look, mostly good mechanics. The only thing that I don't like is when you try to complete every avaiable quest, you quickily outlevel new enemies and game stops giving you any challenge. At least in Borderlands 1 and 2. Games can be played and ejnoyed solo, but best experience is when you play online with 1-3 other people :) If I find time during weekend, I might create separate comment with list of all trailers/intros in suggested order of watching :)

Fun fact - pain and terror are based on the real life magician duo penn and teller. Penn gillette is the only one that speaks, that’s why terror’s mouth is sewn shut. (Teller’s stage gimmick is not to speak)

Cool fact on borderlands, Typhon Deleon is the very first vault hunter to open the vaults! He’s is widely known in the galaxy even in the corps know Typhon Deleon and us as player are also vault hunters inspired by Typhon:D

Nice to see you two do some Borderlands ! I really recommend the Borderlands 3 trailers and the game's intro, and the Vault Hunter trailers for it showcase well each playable character's personality.

You should watch a video called "Best of Mr. Tourge" Its just some really great voice lines from characters throughout the game. That one as well as the video on Tina are *definitely* a must watch!

Yes, you did Borderlands!!! One of my favorite franchises ever! What these were is, in the story, whenever you first meet an important character, you get this quick little scene telling you who they are. Some were friends/allies, some were enemies/bosses. To see the characters you actually play as, you would have to see the actual intros to each game (1,2,3, and the Pre-Sequel, which takes place between 1 and 2). Although, Lillith, Brick, and Mordecai were playable in 1, and Maya and Zero were playable in 2. Each games playable characters tend to become NPCs in the next. The last 4 characters were this games playables. I also highly recommend a short called "A Meat Bicycle for Two", totally awesome. Other stuff you could find as well, I'm sure. You must do more Borderlands!!! Cheers!

To answer the question about Tyreen. She and her brother Troy are sirens who dreamt of becoming vault hunters but were kept hidden for fear of being harmed by a messed up universe. This captivity made them power hungry and egotistical. The whole of Borderlands 3's story line is their attempts to ascend to godhood by consuming Vault Monsters.

Pain and Terror are a reference to Penn and Teller, and are even voiced by them XD

I love borderlands and it’s humor mixed with insanity and coolness🤣

Dude, I got into Borderlands kinda late but it is CONSUMING my life lol. Only played 1 and 2 so far but they're freaking fantastic. Tons of great characters and the sense of humor is awesome. Fun bit of info: several of these characters introduced here are playable characters from the first and second games, namely: Brick, Mordecai, and Lilith from Borderlands 1 and both Maya and Zer0 are from Borderlands 2. It's fun to play an entire game getting attached to a given character since they're basically YOU, and then see them in the next game as fully fleshed-out NPCs that are core to the story. I can't describe how much fun I've been having playing these games lately. I still have Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel as well as Borderlands 3 that I haven't even TOUCHED yet lol. Definitely my current gaming passion lol, and it's going to keep me entertained for quite some time to come too. One of the things that's so fun too is that it's one of the few games around these days that has a long story-focused campaign that supports FULL cooperative play as well as going it solo. I think 1 and 2 may even support local split-screen for couch co-op? Snarky, irreverent, self-aware, and just a cyclone of mayhem that doesn't even TRY to make sense sometimes. In other words...JUST what the doctor ordered these days lol.

Fun fact: Zer0 and Maya are two of the playable vault hunters that you choose to play as in Borderlands 2. Might wanna check it out.

its one of the best coop games, if you never played it, you should! begin with 1 all the way through, it has great humor and is just pure fun.

Fun Fact: Rhys was actually first introduced in the Telltale spin off game Tales From The Borderlands that came out years ago. I watched Jacksepticeye play it and was very happy to see him make a return in Borderlands 3

Every main character (from the main story that is) was here within the intros, except they missed a big one. The main villains of Borderlands 3 are the Calypso Twins. There are two of them. Tyreen was shown, but no Troy. Why was Troy left out?

The Borderlands have a very special place in my heart to a point no matter how good or bad I will get them. And trust me THEY ARRRRRREEEEEEEE GOOOOOOOOOOOD. These games have hilarious stories, Hours of way too much fun (game practically sucked my soul dry for 8 years straight), Its a must play, plus its Couch Co-op compatible. I must say that the game can get challenging to new players of the genre (Loot & Shoot). The comedy is pure gold, The gameplay is just *Magnificent,* The story is actually quite emotional, And the characters you will fall in love with. I'd recommend doing some stuff for borderlands 2 at least as its mine and almost everyone else's favorite of the series. Mainly because of the Antagonist *"Handsome Jack"* he is my favorite character to ever exist. "Hey! How -- ah, these pretzels suck… So, how's your day been, buddy? We haven't really talked much since I left you for dead." "I'm rackin' my brain trying to think of a name for that diamond pony I bought. I was gonna call it 'piss-for-brains' in honor of you, but that just feels immature."

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when they figure out that Pain and Terror are Penn and Teller.

Fun fact about Lorelei is that their voice actor is transgender and in another borderlands game they go from Lorelei to Lor. (She couldn't transition during the time period of borderlands 3 cause of the war she mentions, but after it's over she does so becoming Lor in New Tales from the borderlands).

Tina aka tiny Tina is one load of crazy not joking. She is out to get the very person who killed her family. She does have a massive screw loose though as she was raised outside any human contact and only had a D&D board and a stuffed animal for company. She however is a explosives prodigy and sees each bomb and explosion she makes as a recipe with a tasty ending. Her first kill was on a security guard with a grenade that her mother gave her before the mom was killed. She escaped somehow and ended up on the planet pandora where she is the go to for anything that needs to go boom on the planet. Though she is somewhat close to the original Mad Moxxi as sorta an adopted kid. It’s just odd for everyone else that’s all but they do have a bond. Though Tina basically was raised in the wasteland of pandora with nothing and no one basically she went stir crazy. And this is the result.
