I havent been into bl1 speedruns in a while, and idk if you are either, considering how late i am to this, but he did make a speedrun tutorial of the original borderlands way back, which i found super interesting and informative. Again, the tricks used in this run may have changed since then, but it may be worth a watch :)
I did this game on my own since no one want to play with me. :( But I'm glad I complete the game with all of four characters plus achievements with extra helper from my extra controllers. Sigh.
Man I know this game definitely isn't as good as I remember but I miss it. One of my most played games I'm pretty sure but I haven't touched it since 2 came out
There's a subcategory of missions called challenges, and you get large amounts of xp when they're completed four are for selling items, and there is also a overflow cap where eventually you'll have sold so much the game thinks you haven't done it at all yet and resets the challenge progress.
Respect for your witch jump skills, even with so much going on you still manage to land them. Holy crap. PS: how does the 20k xp challenge reset works?
I assume you're referring to the "Merchant of Death," which is selling 2,000 items to vendors. It's reset (as far as I understand it) by selling the 2,000th, getting the achievement/XP, then buying the 2,000th item back, which technically puts you back to 1,999 items sold to vendors, so the next time you save/exit, you can re-earn the achievement.
@@pentaleks no, right when the bus drops you off you used to be able to jump forward on a certain frame during that time claptrap is giving you the echo device
Sometimes when I do the drop reload, it doesn't work for a specific weapon slot which changes sometimes. How can you know if your gun or weapon slot will drop reload?
I know it's hard to tell for those unfamiliar with Borderlands - and the player here doesn't do a good job of letting it be known, but he has played this game a few times before.
I spent most of yesterday tryna fix the memory leak issues with a bunch of recommendations from people and i think i have done it im surprised no one has found or created a mod to fix it
this is one of the greatest games ever made. im 14 and i grew up playing this game with my cousins. truly amazing to see people play it since not many people know about it. there are people who start the game on bl3, which disgusts me. thank you. ps also grew up with black ops 2.
@@pentaleks also, I've been going through this route at a casual pace and the only thing i cant repeat at all is climbing up the beam in the crimson enclave, I seriously was just jumping into a wall for an hour lol; i tried following your positioning but it wasnt working still
I don't have a good answer for this but it's probably a matter of lack of routing because I haven't thought if using intuition beats the time that it takes to respec skill points during the run
Couldnt you have done the claptrap mission in the slaughter house, just because you have to wait until the psychos spawn and to kill them? Because this gets you a storage upgrade
It's funny because a normal playthrough is no less than 2 and a half hours. This games campaign might have been extremely fun but it was so short. Gearbox really stepped it up with bl2 making a long campaign that's actually enjoyable. Bl3 is just repetitive trash with dragged out unskippable cutscenes.
It's for the merchant of death challenge exploit that gives you 20k XP when you sell 1200 items. The exploit consists in buying back the 1200th item sold everytime I save and quit.
I think it's for money and xp. There's a challenge that involves selling stuff and you can exploit it by buying back what you sold. I don't know the details.
@@Agusplayer2002 yep, this is to get a repeatable and easy 20000 XP exploiting a loophole in the game's coding. Pretty useful, easy and cheap if you use medkits.
@@Wow4ik4ik There are 5 challenges that give you XP after selling x amount of items. The last one of those, I can't recall how many you have to sell. However, if you have sold the exact number of items needed to complete the challenge and buy back one of them, even tho you have beaten the challenge the game thinks that you didn't. Knowing this, after you buy back the item, you save-quit, enter back, sell the item, buy the item, save-quit, rinse and repeat.
