Bruh just went through so many sounds made the sample flipped into a clams casino beat than flipped that to a Afro beat than flipped it into a whole other genre 😂 🔥 simply amazing
Honestly I put hours into making melodies from scratch, because my brain tells me "everything has to be done by it's own". And if I don't get the right vibe I feel like literal sh*t and wanna give up. Since I clicked on the video I feel much better and thing's starting to get easier since I don't try being perfect on every note I make. You give good advice. If you don't have fun, don't force it and be silly instead. Thank you for reminding us what the real point of making music truly is.
for me it's the best way to create everything as far as it's possible for myself I like to build melodies and when they are not good enough I will LEARN instead of using other guys melodies... todays the most music makers just want it easy and simple without using their brain and learn something to become better.. sad world in my opinion..
You should stick to making melodies yourself lol. This style of production is dead in the water and no one wants to work with these types of producers anymore. Your way more valuable as a producer if you actually know how to make the sound. Dragging and dropping shit from splice is how a 13 year old makes music lol
Yes its dead weight and only YT "producers" give those advices. Its just for the clicks if you wanna really "Work in this industries" you need to have the ability to create those.@@CryzorBeatz
hey nick, you’re the reason why i enjoy making beats and i keep going everyday of my life. Keep making beats and being such a good example for all your community. thank you
Some tips I also have are: Don't be afraid to get your heart rate up before making beats, or keep a notebook for taking down sonic ideas for your tracks so you dont forget them, because I find I often do.
You always motivate the shit out of me bro. I have been producing for 2-3 years now, have uploaded 20 beats so far on my Spotify, I want to reach 100 beats before 2024 ends. Sometimes I go offroad and stop producing for a while, I spend way too much time on shit that doesn't really matter much like VSTs and Sample Packs or Watching shitload of tutorials that I don't really practice... but watching your video makes me realize why I started this shit in the first place... to have fun// Thank you Nick, you're amazing. and this channel is a gold mine for every producer out there.
nice n inspirational!! it's all about having fun and iterating over and over, I've made a couple thousand tracks over the past 5 years trying to teach myself and I'm still learning, the process is slow but I love it and it's the only thing I've ever rly been able to keep motivation for and see slow improvement
The goooooaaattt!!!!! Honestly without your vids bro my melodies and music theory would be nothing . I used to watch your 4 hour streams on repeat to learn music. Especially how to make melodies
Hey nick i may have just started but you sure as hell make the journey more enjoyable even tho i wanted to quit because my beats are trash i just wanna have fun now. Your words mean a lot to me and a lot of other people much love from germany
Dont focus so much on trying to be the best just appreciate every little thing u learn and keep practicing it will def get easier , producing is a longevity type of thing
Super facts! with the advancement of tech and music, getting hung up on if your" authentic" or not because you may use loops or samples is soo overrated and irrelevant, especially when some of the biggest songs on the music charts have continue to be sampled songs! .And when you learn your daw of choice, those loops will never be the same.
I like how you are showing people that you can literally make anything and turn that same track into something else if you try and hard enough and manipulate the sample/loop through processing. Music possibilities are endless. 😌👌🔥💯
I think alot of this comes from treating your DAW like an instrument and learning it inside and out. You create so well and remain the flow because you know exactly how to operate your DAW and it doesnt trip you up or take you out of your flow.
Idk if you're gonna see this but I been watching your tutorial videos since 2017, I'm just a year younger than you but you have always been putting out 🔥 content. Truly a jedi of the industry.
Experimenting with different genres is huge. The amount of music in this world is absolutely insane, do not limit yourself -- explore and allow yourself to be immersed in all different kinds of sounds.
But if you wanna get good as a Producer/Beatmaker you have to go to the Beat struggles and boring hours finding the right groove & melodys. This easy going stuff is okay for the beginners but if you want to build up your producing skills you should go through it.
Yesterday, I wanted to make a dirty dnb song but then I found a sample which really fit a part of the song I had made. I changed the key of the sample and completely changed the song. It's just so much fun to follow a trail what you happen to stumble across.
Nick your originality is too good to use splice like everyone else (as do I). I’m telling you make your own masterclass and sell a course with your musically decorated background.
There’s so much free information and tools out there, if you’re paying for a class you just straight lack the motivation to learn and get better and are trying to shortcut it by hoping you can give someone money to tell you step by step how to be creative lmao.
Yo Nick my main inspiration when I get beat block is to listen to my favorite instrumentals. "I'm on one" by Drake is my absolute favorite beat ever, have you ever listened to it for ideas/inspiration? Just thought i'd ask
I've found I can make beats more efficiently with samples and get good results, but feel more warmth and vibe when I take the time to make each track even though it does take a lot longer.
I hate to be the person that tips off the 420 commented section... but this video just solidified my decision to go to music school and learn FL and sound engineering.
