True point however to consistently finding the one's who does better than the market is not feasible. And the same manager cannot beat the market all the time. Investors cannot keep changing funds and bet that the manager can beat the market. Only in hindsight anyone can say if the manger beaten the market or not. Why this confusion, just buy the index and stay invested thereby you can also avoid risk of finding a correct fund manger.

Sir. I agree with you. as you mentioned, problem here is .. many or majority of people does have good skill to beat Index return .. that is true... Also many of small investor (who came after 2021) chasing for return and invest in small cap. so for those people index investing is good and they can focus on their regular jobs.

Thank you for your advice. I am a trader , basically, sometimes turned to be an investor automatically when I could not achieve my goal for the particular stock. By going my way, I will tell you later how I move about in trading, I earn much sufficiently though losing out the momentum stocks. For eg: Cochin shipyard,GRSE, Mazgaon dock. But I make 50-65% pa. I just wanted to share that’s all, thank you once again.

Looks like some issues in calculating Boring stock index since inception. Example L&T return last 18 months 1.2% is not correct.

Can you pls highlight the performance of this index if we constantly invest monthly for 18 months. Can you pls let us know the XIRR of such SIP investment. This data will give us more confidence as all the other stocks (regardless of the fundamentals) has given a great run up for the past 18 months.
