Do you find the "hockey stick" reflections in the windshield to be distracting on bright, sunny days? Or at all for that matter. Both my wife and I _love_ the Natural interior color. However, we live in Arizona which is sunny approximately 350 days out of the year. I have heard that these reflections can be distracting, even downright disorienting at times. To the point where some C8 owners were wishing they had stuck with the all black interior. Our plan was/is to select the 'Two-tone seats' option if we decide to pursue a Natural color interior. This will/should mitigate some of the negatives we have heard regarding the lighter color interiors. We generally avoid the color Black here in the great state number Forty Eight. This includes both the interior and exterior. Black interiors have proven to be hotter than lighter colors, especially here in Arizona. However, the downside is that these lighter color interiors tend to degrade and deteriorate rather quickly due to the oils and sweat that everyone exudes here during the hotter months. It is quite the dilemma. Appreciate the info brother. Stay classy my friend.
I have rode in cars with the “dipped” natural interior and it was VERY distracting. It even seemed dangerous at times. I honestly do not even see the “hockey sticks” while driving. I had to go back to the video to see if there were there! Maybe the camera angle is making them pronounced but I hardly notice when driving. I specifically wanted the natural color seats but wanted to keep the black dash specifically for the reason you mention. I also opted for the GT1 seats because I feel like the GT2 seat ventilation holes make the lighter seats look dirty. With the 2LT interior, the GT1 seats are basically the same as the GT2 with all the adjustment and bolstering etc. The GT2 seats add a bit more eye candy. I have about 5000 miles on my car and so far no issues with the seats. I will note I am always careful when getting in and try no to smash the one bolster on the left of the drivers seat. I also had them ceramic coated along with the outside of the car. The detailer said it will help prevent staining and discoloration. The two tone is also a good option and looks very nice. I however wanted that old school Ferrari look in mine. GOOD LUCK!!
