I don’t know Mike…. I like a louder exhaust, but my main concern would be if it throws a Check Engine Light/Code? It is the Touring AWE, You don’t have a Drone Sound at Highway/Interstate Speeds, Correct? No Check Engine Lights? If you drive your C8 to like Corvettes at Carlisle and have the AWE installed there, what do you do with the OEM NPP Exhaust? I guess you ship it home and/or bring a buddy and another vehicle? Or sell it? Does AWE or anyone at the Flea Market buy the old NPP Exhaust or take it on consignment?

@@jserrano316I hope to get to Carlisle on Friday. Would love to get the AWE, but I want the old NPP. It’s $1,000 bucks after all! I do live in Central PA and have a friend that lives in York, PA, but he doesn’t have a vehicle to transport it. So, probably won’t be getting it. I’m trying to save money for the ZO6 too. I’m now #2 on the ZO6 List where I got my 2022 HTC.

I know this is something that is a little subjective because different microphones don't pick up a whole range of sounds the same, but it still surprises me that's what AWE sounds like. It doesn't sounds the same as it did on HPO's 2020 car, and he had the touring one too.

@@BrinkofSpeed the recordings I've heard before this suggested it have a little less baritone/bellowing notes, and I guess a little more of a growl or sharpness to it. It sounded a little more unique, but very good. Now it sounds more like I would expect a Corvette to sound like I've heard in the last generation, which is not a complaint, I still like it. Now I'm torn again. haha

What can one say other than that this was a great move. Too bad AWE doesn't make a dual-mode setup. But I'm sure you'll have a blast with this exhaust. Save the Wave 🙋‍♂

hi Mike. I’m torn between the AWE touring and the Paragon touring exhaust. Both sound great. However, I’m a bit concerned about V4 drone on the highway. AWE promotes their “no drone “ 180 technology, and it’s hard finding information on drone with the Paragon. Have you noticed any drone issues cruising in V4 mode? Thanks Tom

I went with AWE also and love it. I got the touring and the track conversion which I haven't checked out yet. They didn't have different tips when I purchased mine would have been nice to be able to change them up.

In my car with the AWE tour exhaust if you shift at around 3500 RPM it will pop crazy going into the 2-3-4 gears. also if you take your foot off the gas in 2nd at 3500 RMP you snap and pop a lot.

Sounds a lot like the stock exhaust to me. Maybe I’m wrong. I guess I would need to hear a side by side comparison to truly tell the difference. Does the AWE still work with the compute so you can adjust the exhaust sound from touring, to sport 1 to sport 2 to track mode?
