I'm already aggravated cuz I had this installed by professionals and the sound is just not there in idle and when I drive normal speed, I don't even know I changed anything. I have a flowmaster on my other v8 car and the sound is there from the start up to low tone driving to slam it down driving. I love drone I want drone, and loud as f*ck waking up the neighbor exhaust. Like the flowmaster. I would expect the Borla Atak to give me that. Also the CEL is on and that alone is killing me. The car has 500 miles on it with the check engine that light and I'm furious.

How come there is a couple atak part numbers for the vette not sure on which one to order for mine. It doesn’t have npp but I still see u have other options aside from the non npp

Hi. Thank you for reaching out. We offer options with NPP, AFM, and different tip styles. We can help get you a part number. I noticed that you said you do not have NPP. Does your C7 have AFM?

Ok I bought the Borla Atak, Borla xpipe and a kn intake, my c7 is still quiet until I slam on the gas, I hate active fuel management. I need that Borla sound all the time in any mph how do I get this??? Please let me know what to do I do not have the NPP system but there is a secondary value between the xpipe and the Atak that shuts off most of the time. I want this open permanently without CEL's

Adding this exhaust will cause your check engine light to appear. After inquiring bola. I was told that I must tune it. Tuning voids the warranty. They said I could purchase at a discount 2 new pipe at $225 apiece and it would stop the light from appearing. This infuriated me as I had just spent $500. to have it installed. Now to cost more.Had I known this I would have gone with the cross. Beware!!!

We're sorry to hear that you have a check engine light. Please make sure that you purchased the correct exhaust system for your car's needs. Some Corvettes have AFM and some do not. If yours has AFM and you put an exhaust system on your car that does not come with AFM valves, then the check engine light will come on. (Note: AFM is different than NPP.) A tune is not needed for any of our exhaust systems as long as you purchase the correct system that is specifically designed for your vehicle. We also recommend that you purchase our products from an authorized Borla distributor and that you contact us if you are unsure of what system to get so that we can help you find the correct one. Sounds like shit to me. You'd think of these wunderkind wanted to actually demonstrate the sound, the audio would be better than sub par... ffs... what a waste of time...
