@@germanramos9609 Every race seems to only know or care about what they are taught. Like most white people not knowing or caring about the Mexicans and Mexican Americans influence on not only the United States, but the whole world. It's just ironic. That's just the way the world is brother.
Emmanuel Gracia yes and it’s unfortunate but i feel and take great pride in studying and learning something new besides my heritage or culture sure Mexican culture beautiful culture and what not, but learning about new cultures and people is a way to connect to others.
Great movie from the '80s. One of the earliest movies I can think of that dwells on illegal immigration & the plight of the poor immigrants. Still have this gem on VHS tape. The border crossing was the funniest scene in the movie.
I was born in East L.A in 82' General hospital. The 80's was cool. 90's was fun and sometimes not fun at all. I watched this movie hundreds of times on ktla, fuckin kcop all the channels lol. Puro Los Angeles. Animo. PURO SINALOA. VIVA MEXICO!
Man, you got a good memory. That's right it was shown on Channel 5. Back when network stations would advertise for a week about the movie they were gonna show friday or saturday night.

I’m very fortunate to have a lady like this with great family values along with respect and dignity. I use to be a lady’s man but as soon as I met my beautiful woman I stonewalled all the females just for her. What happened to Chicano movies like this? Seems like after the 90s they all died out. And if we do see a movie like this, it’s mostly some WOKE garbage trying to push a social/political message that is super campy and preachy. What happened to good Chicano movies like this?
