Borsuk RCTS 30 IFV - All Fieldtest Recordings in Poland 

1. It's difficult to compare Borsuk , Lynx . Borsuk is lighter because it can swim . This IFV is for specific region of Poland Warmia and Masuria . There are a lot of lakes and rivers . That's why it is more important to swim availability . On the other hand, starting the financing of the IFV BORSUK project required the ability to swim . It was problem because it is more difficult to design amphibius ifv. But designers coped with it without "strange ballons/ pontoons :)" . 2. Poland is also looking for a heavy IVF for south and central region of Poland , where ifv's like as-21 or kf-41 . cv-90 will be better . 3. The front profile of Borsuk is made for swimming like a boat . Of course according to producer it is easy to install additional armor and 40mm cannon but it cause that ifv can't swim /weight up to 35 tons / . According to german scientists /statistics over 70% of the hits are on the turret . Borsuk has remote controlled unmanned turett . And its height Borsuk' body / where are the crew / is even lower than CV-90 height with traditional manned turett . IFV is not MBT the war tactic is that body should be protected by natural unevenness of the terrain. 3a. War in Ukraine show us that the bridges , pontoon bridges is one of main targets for artillery . A lot of vehicles tanks were destroyed near water crossings . Concentrating the vehicles , tanks in one place is so dangerous , they are easy targets for every ammunition not only precise ammunition . Maybe in that cases it is good to have ability to cross the lake , river with that kind of IFV. 3b. The most expensive and technologically advanced is the turett ZSSW 30 . It costs more than 50% of whole vehicle . It is univesral turett for Borsuk , Rosomak etc. . The unmaned turett was developed over several years , according to many specialist is very modern . 4. Borsuk is in pre-production tests , It's too early to say is it better or worse from others ifv . In the theory Panzer 2000 was one of the best howitzer in the world but in real war some parts should be improved and compare P2000 to polish Krab , Krab is more useful , simpler , reliable according to Ukrainian soldiers . But generally Borsuk will be much better than old soviet BMP-1 and I hope will be produced in sufficient numbers in a few years , and will be an opportunity for the development of Polish industry. Now there are 2 prototypes , 1x pre-production item and next 4 were ordered to speed up tests and research. 4a. The final specification is confidential . And it can change for the final configuration of the armor . Maybe front and top will be STANAG V or even VI standard with the composite armor. 5. For every country is not reasonable to buy everything abroad . The shopping of weapons is connected with many aspects . We have 250 German Leopards 2A4 , 2A5 , modernized 2PL , but for us is to little . Rheinmetall isn't able to produce fast , they wont transfer technology , there no availability to buy used Leopards and political behavior of the German and other countries governments caused that the source of weapon from Germany , France , Switzerland ... is not reliable . That's why Poland buy tanks in USA And South Korea or wants to produce themselves . 6. Trade exchange between Germany and Poland is much higher than Germany Russia . Germans should change mind and to see that central Europe post soviet countries are important and take it more serious . For example after 30 years German government declare that they will give 5 mln euro for teaching Polish . Poland has spent more for 30 years for teaching german language in Poland , German minority has deputy in our parliamnet . The cities and villages in the west Poland have 2 names Polish And German . It was one point of the agreement between Poland and Germany but Germany government has difficulties with cope with it :( . 7. But at the end I wish the best to people from Germany. I hope next year will be better for everyone . By the way good film editing and soundtrack :).

Halo. Polski inspektorat uzbrojenia postawił obowiązek pływalności jako wymóg bezwzględny (jeziora mazurskie, przekraczanie rzek) . Wymusiło to ustawienie bryły, do tego ten pojazd ma bardzo dobrą bezzałogową wieżę ZSSW30, dużą odporność przeciwminową , mobilność , zdolności rozwojowe. W wieży można wymienić kaliber na 40mm. (Bush master)

Wygląda zajebiście. Mam nadzieję, że to udana konstrukcja i bedzie na wyposażeniu wojska polskiego cały czas rozwijana i modyfikowana. W koncu mamy cos w polskiego. Wiadomo silnikow nie robimy ale moze kiedys.

Add armor to the IFV badger very quickly (in field conditions), then Badger weighs 15 tons more and ceases to be amphibious. Anyway, 300 pieces of specially heavily armored badgers will be built, something in the class of American heavy Bradley vehicles

Stunnig beauty of Polish IFV's. I really like these modern IFVs armed with 30 mm Bushmaster gun and SPIKE LR ATGMs. These composite semirubber tracks are also a very good idea.

Wirkt deutlich kompakter als ein Lynx und vor allem als der Red Back. Ich würde anstelle der Polen wohl doch eher zu dem System greifen, unterstützt die heimische Produktion und ist wohl auch spezifischer auf polnische Gegebenheiten angepasst als ein Modell von außerhalb.

Guter, leichter IFV mit ausreichender Bewaffnung. Der Puma ist in der Tat größer und schwerer, was Probleme machen kann. Schaut man sich alternativ den KF-41 Lynx oder den CV-90 an, sieht man das diese IFV's ein flacheres Profil haben was sie schwerer aufklären lässt. Da ich leider keine Daten über den Borsuk habe könnte er durchaus besser motorisiert sein und ist somit Beweglicher.

Wheres the smoke? Military diesel engines used to smoke like hell in my times! :D

Hallo unbekannterweise, ich habe eine Frage. Bei 0:07 hat der Borsuk andere Ketten als im Rest des Videos. Querrillen vs. Kettenstollen: 3:26. Haben Kettenfahrzeuge manchmal verschiedene Ketten für verschiedene Einsätze? So vielleicht eine Kette für Transport und eine für Offroad? Oder war das jetzt bloß ein Zufall, dass das eine evtl. die Kette vom Prototyp/Werbeträger war und das andere war die Standard-Kette für den Einsatz? Du bist doch Profi: wie ist das? Neugierig, Piet.

Was sind jetzt seine Alleinstellungsmerkmale ggü. den europäischen Konstruktionen.

Hmmm irgendwie erinnert mich die Bauform an den M113, Kanisterform halt. Bei der kastigen Front hätte ich so meine Bedenken, dass Teil läd ja geradezu dazu ein, mittig anzuhalten. Maximierung der Panzerung und Schutzes durch Anwinkeln ist da wohl noch nicht so angekommen in der Entwicklung.

Ich sehe da absolut nichts, was einer der bewährten europäischen IFVs nicht auch gekonnt hätte. Liebe Polen, zeigt doch mal, wie er durchs Wasser gondelt und ob er dabei noch kampffähig ist, sprich alle Bewaffnung einsetzen kann.

Borsuk jest tylko pływającym gąsienicowym transporterem opancerzonym, który nie ma wymaganej odporności balistycznej aby go nazywać BWP, przestrzeliwuje go na wylot działo 30mm tak jak KTO Rosomak, dlatego zdecydowano się na koreański AS21 RedBack, który jest prawdziwym BWP i ma ochronę balistyczną właściwą dla BWP tj. wytrzymuje ostrzał z działa 30 mm, po co piszecie głupoty o tym Borsuku, na pewno wejdzie do produkcji, wyprodukują małą partię i ogłoszą sukces a potem będą produkować koreańskie BWP
