Every generation says the next one is weak until something happens and they step up. The Naruto generation was called weak by the Kages when Madara declared war and we all know they were the ones doing the most damages to the enemy.

@@brandon1234 that doesn't mean it's not true, in Naruto, each generation has gotten further from being child soldiers like in the feudal period, their lives are better and easier so they are less equipped for adversity... That's the same in the real world... If you lost power in your entire city, could you survive? How about your great grandfather when he was your age? Really think about it, cuz not only will you need to get food, shelter, and a clean water source, but also have to worry about other humans who care more about them securing those things for them and their families than they do about your life. There is a chance that your great grandfather was weaker than you but when were not talking about you or me personally, were talking about the entire generation, so the vast majority can't say they are stronger or more resilient than their ancestors, who had more adversity to overcome and therefore grow into someone who endures, aka a ninja.

Yes from the movie, naruto told hinata to use byakugan to boruto, but in the anime they're not showed it

I'd say here it makes more sense vs what he pulled in the movie. Plus the reason in got that focus in the movie was becaise it was the last match they fought in the tournament while here it continues past it.

Yea no she has no counter for Shinki, mutsuki or Sarada. She is powerfull no cap but she isn't close to Mutsuki and Shinki in power and As a swordsman the sharigan is the perfect counter to her.

If it wasn't for his relationship with Naruto and his desperation to be acknowledged by him he wouldn't gave cheated. He was also being gaslit by a adult who used his poor emotional state against him. And let's be honest the same happened in Narutos era with both Naruto and Gaara robbing better opponents their victories who deserved it more because of tailed beast cheats.

@@GeminiSunrise06 let's do compare them. The ninja tool is a tool, it's in the name, it's up to the wielder to choose what jutsu and how to use it. Your own conscience and skill is taken into account when using it. The tailed beast does not need any user input, it completely acts on its own will to make it virtually impossible for the host to lose, no skill necessary. It heals you instantly when you have a hole chidorid through your body, when your neck gets snapped, when all your chakra points are shut down and gives you nearly infinite power to escape any trap. That isn't even the only time naruto cheats either if not for Kabuto directly stopping him in the forest of death Naruto and team 7 would have been disqualified as Naruto was opening the scroll to copy it, wich is against the rules and instantly gets you disqualified. Kabuto had to step in so Sasuke can continue on in the tournament for Orichimaru. Yet only Boruto is hated as a cheater 😆

He could take Sarada because ultimately she is a very up close fighter. This jutsu he uses against Boruto basically shuts down anyone who comes close to him, with that range it's basically over instantly for any of the close range fighters. Shinki and Mitsuki would be different stories as they don't go close range instantly usually

He doesn't normally resort to cheating as shown in the previous arcs, he just wasn't in a good spot mentally at this point because of his relationship with Naruto.

@@stevenviljoen160 Well yeah, but he also didn't have the ninja tools as a crutch option back then as well. Also, only the genin graduation exam would have been the only time he could have really cheated.

@@numberhunter62 No the card game against the old lady after the mist arc was specifically put there to show Boruto doesn't usually resort to cheating. Sarada also makes a point to mention he is acting out of character, he just isn't in a good spot right now mentally.
