I don't blame boruto or Naruto. I blame the one who created boruto to even continue after naruto Shippuden. I mean you either need to match it at that level our take it to the next level. They brought otsutsukis in boruto too quickly. All the characters needed proper time for growth.

Naruto and Boruto did train together when he was younger, but at this point I doubt he would have accepted even if Naruto offered. Besides, it was understood by everyone that Sasuke was handling his training.

You hit the nail right on the head. Boruto is way too close to being human in that all his flaws and character traits are too relatable to be admired by Naruto fans. Its too close to real life as they can't see Boruto as someone to look up to like they could with Naruto who started from the bottom and pushed himself against the odds. It's also a reason why Subaru is hated if you ever watched rezero.

This is actually one of the main reasons why I love Boruto as a character more than Naruto. I love when MC is relatable to the viewer. Because let´s be honest most people can´t relate to orphan kid with fox inside him and being hated by entire villiage.

WRONG. Naruto was there for Boruto. He's just gotten busier the last few years since he became Hokage. Boruto is weak because he never really put in any effort to train.

@@animeman8203 No he was there for his kids to hang out with before becoming Hokage but he did not teach Boruto a single thing combat wise. Both the anime and novels have confirmed Boruto trained himself to do shadow clones without Narutos guidance and his Taijutsu was 100% Hinata and the rest of the Hyuga training him. Boruto has not learnt a single technique or jutsu from Naruto while he did learn from the Hyuga (Taijutsi) Konohamaru (rasengan) and Shuriken skills (Sasuke)

@@animeman8203 That doesn't count as training.😑 Bro you're ignoring the part that shikamaru literally said "Boruto is not only one who is getting special training", that means he trained sikadai really hard for exam. Meanwhile Naruto didn't teach a single technique.

@@mohammedfaizaanmoola8529 Boruto too, withoud him, Sumire would've exploded some parts of the village with Nue, people actually could've died, so even though Naruto saved the village way more times, that doesn't mean Boruto need to be hated by Naruto need to be loved, that just doesn't make sense.

@@chandlermorgan708 But he is his son. But if that’s not a comparison, look at literally every other Boruto character. Even Denki, who can’t even use Ninjutsu, doesn’t resort to ninja tools (yet). He didn’t make it past the second round, sure, but at least he went down fighting and didn’t use a ninja tool, even though he loves those things to death. Nobody in his generation even THOUGHT about using scientific ninja tools. They train. Sure they complain, but don’t make excuses and they push through. Shikadai is probably the best example. Does that suffice as a fair comparison?

I wouldnt say its a crutch, for someone like Boruto, Naruto and other similarely powerful guys sure but some people just cant use chakra eveb with training like Rock Lee etc, the Jutsus it stores arent only offencive, it stores things like shadow paralysis and other stun jutsus too which would be massively helpful for the guards, police etc.
