Brave pilots took off earlier into light wind and thermals and some managed to make it away from the hill. I waited until the wind increased so soaring the ridge was easier, but the thermals were broken up and I wasn't able to gain more than about 600-700ft above takeoff. A pleasant flight non the less and I top landed after a few spits of rain.
