Bosch Athlet easy five minute fix, one thing I forgot to say was the cardboard I used was a slight bit thicker than a credit card, if the thickness of a credit card won't suffice find something a slight bit thicker but not so much you can't reconnect the head of the hoover to the base

Thanks for that, I’ll do that. Ive just bought new batteries for mine, comes all wired up for you to just change the connections. Bosch wanted £199 plus £117 for the engineer to call out to do it. I bought the battery pack for £65 and fitted it myself

Thanks so much; this fixed my problem with intermittent cutting out when using the 'Turbo' mode. One thickness of Co-Op loyalty card, cut as shown in the Video, was all that was needed. Now vacuuming with no cut-outs!

Tried this put card in same side as you did and could not get the vac together again, I put the card on the opposite side and it went together no problem...Worked a treat.

That only bloody works! I tried with an old card and couldn’t get the handle back on so I used the plastic around a packet of Cocodamol ! Magic- thanks! I’m thrilled to have my hoover back 🎉

Haha glad you fixed it in your own way, and yeah it's just getting the thickness right so it slots back in

What is the fix for? What was your issues with the hoover?

Did you say that the problem arose because a lot of heat was generated? Where does the heat get generated at? I'd be wary of putting carboard close to heat in such an enclosed space?
