This is the kind of restoration which needs to be done more often. Everyone is so concerned with making the the tool look new, when they should be more concerned with making it work.
You took a broken drill with a terribly rusted chuck, removed, cleaned, repaired, and lubricated all the parts, put it back together and returned it to fine working condition....that is not only a restoration....that, my friend, is a work of art! Best wishes and stay healthy.

@@AlexBRestoration Thanks, Ive been looking for some actual grease when I clean out my fans of dust for the summer or so each year. Ive tried some other kind of lithium grease though and it didnt really work out too well.
Nice vidéo !! Do you know how to remove the drill chuck of the 18ve2li ?!I have removed the bolt inside the drill chuck counterclockwise, but the drill chuck doesn't get off.I have put a allen wrench tighted the drill chuck and tried to unscrew clockwise but nothing... Thank you
