Sold nice one mate Iv just done my back garden looking for a cordless, Iv planted over 100 dif flowers and re seeded the lawn this summer 👍I recognise the accent I’m about 8 miles from Liverpool ormskirk
I really enjoy watching your videos, you have helped me so much on understanding what products work and you should use. All the pro’s just baffle me with product descriptions etc etc. also having given up with my trusted cable mover ( right pain in the arse ) i bought myself a hayter cordless. I’m hoping it’ll help out immensely because i was just constantly getting tangled up! We recently just bought a new build property, and ours is no exception too. The grass isn’t in the best of shape, so I plan on doing a full renovation soon ( possibly September time? ) as i think I’ve missed my chance this spring?
Cheers, really glad the videos have helped! I know what you mean about the pros. In all honesty, it was one of the reasons I started this channel. I know I'm never going to have a bowling green lawn, but that's not what most people are after. Most people just want a thick, green lawn that stays nice through spring and summer! You've not missed you chance to renovate! I renovated one of my smaller lawns last year in June, which most lawn experts would recommend against. But the lawn ended up brilliant! I'd go for it! Also, which Hayter did you get and what do you think of it? I've been looking at the 36 60v.
Yeah your videos have helped massively in knowing the process of how to do it on a diy level. I’m definitely not looking at trying to get that bowling ball type lawn, but if i can achieve anything close to what you have done, then I’d be as happy as. I actually opted for the hawk 36, I’ve been toying with the idea for a long time now. In fact, I’ve had this mower in my shopping cart for months debating it. The only reason i bit the bullet on it, was because hayter has a really good deal on them at the moment. I think £160 cheaper than i was going to spend out? The hawk 43 was an option, but my garden isn’t really big enough for that one tbh.
I recon I’d go for the 36 too. I’m at a wedding today so maybe after a few drinks I can bring up the ‘I think we need another lawn mower’ chat! 🤣 The deal they have on is great, considering it’s not a cheap mower.
@@NoviceGardener 🤣🤣 lol the conversation i had to have yesterday with my mrs was quite interesting. I just bought it anyway, but she wasn’t happy 🤣🤣! Yeah it’s definitely a cracking deal, especially if you get the 4ah battery and fast charger, even that was still cheaper than the Amazon basic deal i was considering. But you know with, you’re getting the best of the best hands down. Good luck 🙃🤣🤣
It's disappointing that for such an expensive mower Bosch are still using cheap plastic instead of a steel base. I've had Bosch mowers and, trust me, as soon as you scrape the base, or catch it on anything hard, it cracks or falls apart very easily. If they were £150 I could understand. But for the steep price, I would always go for a steel base mower, hands down
Great video, I have been looking at buying this lawn mower, I can get my hands on the universal rotak 36-550 cheaper than the easy rotak version but not so sure if there is a difference. Did you come across this?
Cheers 👍🏻 I’m not sure of the differences between the two. I’ve seen it in shops before but I’m not sure of its features. It’s a bit on the pricey side but it does a class job. I saw it in Homebase first but ended up picking it up from B&Q as it was closer.
I've had mine 3 years and now it's stopped working. 😢 I can't find how to get the lid off to investigate it, either. How to disconnect the cutting height adjuster mechanism. Any ideas? 🤔
It's to keep the lawn thick. I don't like to leave it too long before cutting as I only want to me nicking the top of the blades. It just helps your lawn to stay healthy and not under too much stress.
Found my way here, for trouble shooting on my new lawnmower. I Just bought one of these. I'm constantly running out of battery (10 mins tops!?) and it drops most of the grass instead of getting it into the collector. I'm wondering if my machine is faulty or I am doing sometghing wrong?
