For the price they are good mower for small patches. Think I’d turn up a boss if you have suitable size material ( in stock) They are prone to filling up with dry grass and overheating if not cleaned out every few years. I have one of these ( later model different switch handle) and loaded the inside fan sections with lead shot and epoxy. Helps munch through the thicker stuff with a sharp blade 🌝 Keep up the good work🙂
Good to hear that you think they are fairly good. The motors seem robust and they are the same for the next size down so they grunt through the longer stuff, cheers
Hi Andy - around the 14:40 mark, you soak some 'gunk' around the bearing. Just wondered if you could let me know what the 'gunk' stuff was? Great video by the way! The bearings have gone in my dad's old Rotak 370 ER mower and I thought I'd have a go to repair it after watching your video 🙂. Cheers!
There are many of these mowers laying around broken in different ways. You may get a few of them for free and "harvest" the parts. In my country I managed to get 6 of cordles ones for a few euros. With 36V batteryes and chargers. I managet to put 2 working ones out of them. I got 7 batteryes all together. One is very good, three of them at 70% of capacity, only one was bad, but still OK for DIY rebuilding project.
@@TheInfoworks I'm a subscriber for a few years. Your conversion of wall heater to solar caught my attention, and since then I watch almost every video you post. I'm fascinated how much technical knowledge you have and how you are able to use it in practical cases. Respect!
