Bose AV3 2 1 Remote works but doesn't turn on Receiver Easy Fix !!! 

I show how to open up this Bose AV3-2-1 receiver dvd all in one surround system. the unit works, the remote was previously working and then all of a sudden the remote would not control the unit. would not power up or anything, even if the unit was turned on manually. I don't show this, but I replaced batteries on remote and was about to open it up, ( and I remembered that you can check the infrared ray signal with a camcorder). it will not work with a camera phone. it has to be a camcorder. this was a Sony hd camcorder. I air out the inside with compressed air and make sure the ribbons are secure. "dust was the cause of the infrared ray not reading the remote)
