I’m about to pick up an open box module. It’s for a small bedroom which doesn’t need booming bass, but the soundbar 900 I’m going to pair it with needs a tad bit lower end for music. The bar alone is actually pretty sufficient for films. Anyone have experience with this combo? How does it sound? Is it good for music?

Hiw do I put the bass module on standby when I turn off my soundbar 600 the bass module stays on...there's a button on side but that doesn't seem to do anything...

Does the bass module help with volume ducking problems on the Bose tv speaker soundbar. When playing music that has bass the volume seems to duck like a limiter or some sort of compression. Wondering if the bass module alleviates that problem.

I disagree bass was non existent. I did hook it up with a Bose Tv Speaker and they only bass control i had was on my remote.. Tried to access Bose app but it would not read either one of my units. Another problem is i like the sound bar but it only works with a Bose 500 or 700 module i cant add a polk or sony to the bose sound bar.

Well, this is just the bass module (subwoofer), so you’d need the speaker setup or your TV to be AirPlay 2 compatible.
