I'm sold on those bad boys!! I recently went to a high-school state competition to see my niece perform and the L1 PRO was used for audio. My mind was blown on the clarity and the bass it puts out! Rocked the whole basketball gym!
Excellent review ! Thank you so much ! I just purchased one !! I’m in love with Bose pro products being a vocalist. and your review sealed the deal for me .. ( wanted to upgrade from older L1..model 2 B2)..! Can’t wait to get my L1pro16 .Delivery date tomorrow!!🎶😀
I run a pair of Turbosound IP1000 line arrays, 2000 watts per pair, complete coverage, light, made from birch wood, and I always get complements on my sound
I use the PRO 16 - IT IS TOTAL BAD A$$$$$$$$$$ - Only complaint is the $55 fee (non-protection) slip cover!! BOSE should have included it with the high cost of the speaker. GREAT REVIEW 🙂
I was skeptical until today and that’s because I saw this video when Barr put it out. and I should’ve taken his advice and gone out to listen to these at a local music shop. I ended up buying KS 118’s, which pack a punch but they are super heavy. Today I listened to one at guitar center and I was mind blown. I paid four grand for ks118’s. I would have gladly paid 4grand for two of these Bose array systems all in all, I’m probably still gonna buy a set of these.😊
lo mismo pienso y ademas como seria comparativo, Contra RFC evox 12 ese seria un buen video informativo. no incluyas las evo 50 pq de verdad no creo q esgen en esa liga. Usalos en un evento y creere si son realistamente buenos.
@@djmaverick Both are great! During to covid not at a big Venue yet but I played them in a big house and I can assure you they sound extremely loud! I couldn't handle so much power in my head. The clarity of sound Bose gives will be something new for your ears. If you can afford go for the Bose but with sub2 definitely! 44g2s are great too and probably I m gonna buy them in the future but the sound is much greater on Bose and you can carry them all alone but the Lds need two persons to carry. I hope I helped!
Hi, Brand new DJ here, not sure I get (sorry French is my first language) the information about the size room. Let's say I hava a party ti 50 persons and a dance floor of 30 x 30 squares feets. Just one speaker would do the job ? Where should i put it ? in a corner or in the front middle of the dance floor ? thanks for all your answers in advanced.
One I have to say this was a really great video I dropped the sub instantly but two I wanted to mention that I wish I would have found this video before I made the purchase although it didn't make me regret my purchase by any means he would have just helped me make my decision faster! It was awesome to see someone who is an actual DJ of weddings.
What's cool about Line Array instead of 2 or 3 way speakers, is the 16 - 2 inch speakers being full range speakers makes the speaker system behave like one large 32 inch speaker, since they work in unison. That gives a consistent sound across the dispersion of the speakers. Thankfully, they have "finally" reached normal consumers recently. Before, they were only offered for commercial applications.
16 two-inch speakers have the same area as a single 8 inch woofer. What you said is beyond stupid. To get the same area as a 32" youd need 254 of the 2 inch speakers. Explains why these systems only sound good if you are standing next to them.
Hi . i just compare wirh my EV 50 Bose Pro 16 is very more powerfull ! and bass is more punchy, however , i regret a big miss in the low medium for the bose. The best system behind a Syva L acoustics is the Maui 44 G2 ( big box and heavy ) but nothing better on the market fore the price. Update : I set up a double pro 16 for the first try in real condition. Résultat: awful ! I don’t know if there was an inversion of bass but I try all settings and Sound was really bad. I quickly change the setup with EV before my party and sent back bose to the shop.
Man I hope you see this: If I bought just one Bose L1 Pro16 do you think I could do wedding receptions of about 100-150 people in a medium hotel banquet room? Sorry if this isn't enough info for you to go on. (Thanks for making the videos btw. They are a huge help to a novice like me.)
@@BayardoRugama I have 0 of these. I was going to buy one , but I'll look for something else now. Am I ever glad I waited for your opinion. Thanks 1,000,000 man! You basically saved me from making a questionable 1800 dollar purchase.
Of course it will handle 150 people easily. I used the old l1 compact outside facing bleachers with a 100 people or so, and it was phenomenal. And it only has 6 speakers and a tiny little sub.
@@renerodriguez1876 I might have to take a second listen but the EV had crisper highs. I'll do another test this weekend and play around with the EQ settings.
Is there a smaller version built for home use? I would like to find something that will replace my current Bose soundbar. also, will this work in stereo if I get a pair of them, or will they sound muddy if there are two?
A pair of Bose S1 Pros with a Sub1 is an incredible system. Compared to a sound bar this is on another planet! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C9HQklyAw3Q.html
Thanks for this video. Really helpful. I've just bought my Bose pro 16 unit.. I used it at wedding on Saturday but I struggled to get sound playing through it. I used an XLR in the 'Line Out' and connected to the Master XLR on the back of my DJ mixer. I'm guessing I don't use the 'Line Out' option to connect to a DJ mixer then? Would it be the Aux 1/4 jack output I use? Thanks!
I've never seen it demonstrated by a Band ,there are endless demoes by individuals waving their arms about and endless yapping .do you get just one or do you need 2 ,can it be connected to a mixer and used in stereo. Will it handle the band instruments miked up
@@DavidB_AudioTech to me is better. And I say because I was after the f1 for about 2 years I did my testing.. I’m no pro. I used it for personal family gatherings.. but I have two Dj s that had the f1 but now use the pro 16 they love it.. Abd one of them saw mine then got it. It’s your preferences Brother
@@iceman012776 thank you for your reply ,is it more or less similar for power? I also have a 2 f1 kit with sub but I'm always ready to have lighter and equivalent
@@DavidB_AudioTech all you will get is a lighter system. The F1 is heavier for a reason. It blows the Pro 16 to shreds. But if you want good sound at less weight, go with the Pro 16
🤯 Amazing video. I know this might be on different leagues but I'll ask anyway.. How you compare sound coming from 2x QCS K12.2 with and without KS212C? Thanks
Great Review 👍🏿. But these "Column Arrays" aren't for me. Well, maybe for a ceremony but that's it. It's like comparing a "Sound Bar" home theater system to a mid level full 5.1(etc) system. No comparison.
These sound clean but I wasn't impressed at all. This isn't at all good for hip hop, Rnb, garage, drum and bass or British urban music as the sub doesn't go low at all, you miss those bass notes. Line arrays are not for everyone.
Hey Dj Barr how’s everything. Please do a sound and quality review on this Bose product. Other are rated no good for the price. Your thoughts. Dj NEWYORICAN
