Bose Revolve vs B&O A1 - Quick comparison... 

Not siding any one speaker - but I think his biaural mics don't have bass roll off - so definitely for this indoor test the A1 would sound really good. I could never get this sound at the malls when I test out both - which is what the speakers are made to do - outdoors.

Jordanlah it's definitely not the fault of the mics. I recorded the speakers 60cm away, in a super quiet room so this is why you hear so much deep bass from the A1. Just go 1 meter away and the Bose will suddenly sound more powerful.

Yes toni - definitely not saying your microphone is faulty - that's just the characteristics of microphone. And yes- that's what I encounter at the malls in open spaces too when comparing the both - it's hard to hear the deep bass of the A1 outdoors. (btw 60cm is quite close listening range for outdoor speakers :) )

Not really because a good speaker sound good regardless indoors or outdoors. Besides the worst part is the battery; what's the pointing of having something that's literally made for outdoors but only sounds good for indoors and need to be plugged in all the time?

jc ca I also thought about a comparison between the SL mini and the Revolve but currently Iam having real struggle to decide between the Revolve and the Revolve+. But there will be a lot more comparisons soon:)

Thanks I hope you feel better. I bet folks are asking if the revolve plus is better than the A1. I find the p2 nice but the small speaker does not have the low end bass like the revolve.

scamhealy REVOLVE BIT THE P2, then REVOLVE+ bit the A1. haha , why don't you bring your Revolve to iMAX to make a comparison?! No matter the price range / size / weight, the A1 of cause the same class with revolve. Revolve+ should face to A2(?), but for sure , the Revolve+ should win, cause even the A1 was better than the A2. So how about P2? Sorry Bose just didn't have this class of product.

scamhealy the revolve+ really is a great speaker. Yesterday I listened to the small and the big revolve more in-depth and suddenly the "wow" factor of the small one was gone and the advantages of the big revolve came through. Sadly it's pretty hard to compare to others just because the design and sound approach of the new bose speakers is so different. But when taking other speakers in that size class like the A1, Megaboom, Charge 3, Xtreme or S3 the revolve+ can hold it's own very good. What impressed me the most is their capability with modern music. There's no speaker under 1kg which can reach such good bass notes.

Nyzze TV sowas kommt dann in Form von dem Review. Ich werde mich ein wenig eingewöhnen und ihn dann grob mit dem Rest im Review Vergleichen.

La Wy the Bose would sound better on normal levels due to the fatter bass and A1 would have an advantage on max volume because it’s much louder with less compression.

Speaker Toni b&o A1 compare with a bose revolve+ that cost only 50€ more. Who is better (quality sound and max vol)? And if compare with denon envaya 250?? Actually i have soundlink mini ii but in the garden, pool, bbq... I need more vol. Thanks

MIG Group LLC with a rating system any idiot can tell you everything which is not rare in the audio business Why would you trust me if I tell you that the B&O sounds amazing and beats all other speakers without giving you any sound sample? I also wouldn’t say the sound take is questionable because when using even average headphones on your PC the impression is quite realistic I wouldn’t have uploaded my videos if I wouldn’t roughly hear what I hear in real life

Toni - I think many are getting the good bass impression because the binaural mics have no bass roll off? So in an indoor setting- I think the recording would favour the A1 a lot more because it does have that low end... but in real life I seem to struggle to get that in an open mall unless I am less than 1 meter away from the A1. I'm really struggling to get either one of them... and afraid I would make the wrong choice when I'm listening to it outdoors... :)

Get revolve for outdoors. I got one and no regrets 👍 Now thinking of getting the A1 for office room. Not sure if I shud get B&O or JBL

i totally agree with you, i wonder if all these people commented here are musician who know how to compare sounds hahaha, for me A1 doesn't have the punch, treble is terribly high. I've listened to both before made my choice to Revolve, love the bass punch and the real 360' sound. (try to listen and move around Revolve and you will be disappointed by the A1 lol)

@@itsgabrielle4209 I don't think people have to be musician who know how to compare sounds to be able to appreciate the sounds they hear or to make a decision as to what is better for them. It is very subjective.
