The fact that boom4eva is winning with bayo at level shows how much practice and dedication bayo players put into the character , even after all the nerfs. This guy is using a dead character and is still winning . Bayo haters will just have to deal that . Sorry 🤷♀️ the character takes skill. Most ppl don’t even know how to bayo but want her nerfed
i wish people understood she was mid tier and u have to actually be good to play her, shes a pretty cool character and i think she deserves more respect for all the hours us bayo mains put in
0:32 the reason this worked isnt because sisqui was in the wrong, its because bloom read his sdi up and killed him since he was holding straight up trying to sdi out (if u react u can kill people with up air instead of fair but its tricky) bloom is just a very good player
dang he also did it on the second stock with ANOTHER sdi up read/reaction 1:02 edit: u can even see the fact that he sdi'd up out of the first combo, so bloom thought he would do it again
@@ramusic2480 never said it wouldnt, just saying the only reason sisqui died there was because bloom was able to react to which sdi path sisqui opted for and chose up air here, if he did fair sisqui wouldve escaped and lived
@@stevec4100 it looked like he was swapping between the two, sdi up with sdi down and away. Looking at the little sdi ripples, he was doing a good job (not crazy fast sdi but pretty good), but a good bayo player can react to your sdi and change their follow up. Bloom really seemed to have that down, idk if he was reacting or guessing but it was very consistent so probably reacting. There's probably more optimizations that can be made about mixing up SDI in the middle hits and DI on the launcher, but that's something I think needs to be labbed out
sisqui keeps sdiing up and allowing bloom to extend upwards to get some stupid early kills, sdiing down forces bayo to extend horizontally which she's worse at doing
@@stevec4100 Exactly. And in a lot of cases it looks like SisQui could escape the combo but is too scared of guessing what to do next. For example: when Bayo hits you with the full combo, in the last part (usually forward air) you have to SDI down and away so you literally never die to the combo
I play dark samus/samus and this matchup is an easy dub for them. Just down b barrage of bombs and she cant do her combos. I win everytime i play against bayo
Everybody says that but personally I struggle against bayos with Samus, if I can keep her away it's fine but as soon as I get combo'd I can't react fast enough. Sisqui is one of the best samus players in the word, and Bloom is insanely good too so I guess the matchup comparison between them and us is irrelevant anyway, they're on a whole different level
@@resean2727ot even a mid tier anymore, easily a high tier now. There's a ton of good Bayos and she's being optimized more and more and finding lots of success. It's kinda a universal consensus by now.
Its not the best beyonetta in the world. Its the character. That they never nerfed those high combos you cant get out of. Its BS. They definitely need to get rid of those beyonetta combos. They are ridiculous.
@@hatboi124 SDI in ultimate is notably less impactful than smash 4 as a heads up, plus some characters can struggle to get out even with SDI. Had the pleasure of playing bloom and his reactions are crazy. He is very good at following SDI even if you manage to do it well.
@@Neonradish Yeah, even so, you may as well try to SDI, right? Also, I was only half joking when I said "just don't get hit lol," because this one time I was fighting a Bayonetta and getting messed up again and again, I eventually realized I needed to start shielding more and stop getting hit by her arial ABK combo starter. Once I did that, I actually started winning games. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like Bayo kinda struggles to get in when you are wary of ABK. Also, it's super cool that you got to fight bloom. I had never seen him before this tournament but he is super impressive!
