The Follin brothers really woke up one day and thought, "Today I am going to create a banger soundtrack for a game nobody will ever play," and then never stopped thinking that
I mean, it was expected that Plok would become a franchise. It just seems like it was released at the wrong time. Though, they were going to put their all in the game regardless.
@@jamesalexander5559 we even got to see just how much of an influence plok was on that game given the prototype leaks. There's a LOT similar to plok with the original mario version honestly at least visually.
Didn't have much of a chance to begin with. Aside from the godlike soundtrack the game is fairly flawed. And the Game bombed horribly on it's debut. All that's left is a dormant Webcomic that's been on hiatus for a couple years now. Damn shame too, the game had heart and soul put into it.
@@MASKEDisGod Went back here from a comment on your track lol Thank you so much for this, it's absolutely perfect! My wish came true :') PS: Oh yeah, you definitely got a new subscriber. Obviously.
One day, you will wake up, pick up your phone, and see on your notification tab from RU-vid, "Roller Mobster (Beta Mix) - Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number" Silvagunner
Can't believe Tim and Geoff Follin went into the future, kidnapped Carpenter Brutt, and brought him back to make singlehandedly the most unnecessary badass OST
Haha, finally found someone in the comments that played that game. Having that trace tick down was one of the most intense gaming moments ever for me :)
This rip actually made me tear up. Tim Follin is one of my favorite composers and the Hotline Miami soundtrack is one of my favorite video game soundtracks. I've been listening to the Hotline Miami ost for literally like 7 years, and I love retro video games. This shit is amazing.
I'm sure Carpenter Brut got inspiration from Tim Follin at some point, their style are very similar. And also this is an awesome rip thank you for this
I've never heard the original plok boss theme, and i have no clue what this rip is referencing, but jesus fuck, this is such a fucking banger holy shit.
@@Kouvre Anything is better than the 500th fire emblem character. But Nintendo will probably add the mario cast as babies instead even when no one asked for them or even wants them. :V
I thought that he would have made for a cool Mii Brawler costume, but it's alright that nothing happened. I honestly couldn't care who is made playable anyways.
I KNOW this is from Hotline Miami but damn I can imagine this being some pinultimate stage as a rough gauntlet in the OG Plok than whatever we got for the final stretch of the game.
“The snes sound chip doesn’t have bass compared to the superior Genesis chip.” Bitch please. ☕️🗿Hold my drink. As a thorough Sega Genesis enjoyer, I’ll say the snes held its own in the sound department. Not as many games were as bass heavy on the snes compared to the genesis and it’s low bouncy sound, but the plok soundtrack is the second thing I think of when it comes to bass heavy 16 bit games. I’ll be honest if I had no idea this was a snes exclusive I’d be thinking it was a genesis game lol!
I know I’m late, but this line of the best SNES songs in the Plok sound font would be complete if Bagan’s theme from Super Godzilla was put into this sound font
why does this sound exactly like that song from hotline miami that goes: tututututututututututututututututututututututututututututututututututututututututututu oh wait, it is
