@@sploder1238 The Biolizard's capabilities didn't change between the two fights, so Sonic should still have a strong grasp on how to defeat it, even if he was Super Sonic last time
I hear there are some that don’t like this remix cause its too bright compared to the dark gritty original. I’d argue it’s brighter because its Sonic whose’s fighting the Biolizard. It fits Sonic’s personality. Not to mention, this Sonic has gotten much more powerful since the SA2 days. Capable of beating perfect chaos without going super.

I love how haunting this theme is, even in the remix. I always got some weird, deicide-type feelings fighting the biolizard. It was always this mysterious, almost supernatural being when I was a kid.
If you listen to the Virtual Hill version in Sonic Forces, it sounds more menacing but a bit cartoonish because the stage is actually another version of Green Hill.
throughout SA2 Shadow's mind was kind of distorted so it makes sense that the themes had distorted lyrics... but when you plop Sonic into the Biolizard fight it wouldn't fit as well

Biolizards Support system connects him directly to the Arc which is a constant reminder of what happened 50yrs past to Gerald, Maria and everyone on the Arc, and thus existing for nothing else but using the Arc itself to wipe out humanity as revenge. But Shadow's support system keeps him from giving up on humanity and instead gives humanity his support. Supporting Me

it's a nice change of pace in my opinion but I still would've loved to fight it as shadow but you can't in generations because he's a boss, still would've been awesome tho' but I guess it just means sonic experiences the fight he didn't get to support in the beginning
Judging by the cutscene that played before this boss in _Sonic Adventure 2,_ it was actually Sonic who was about to fight the Biolizard, only for Shadow to step in.
i love the three versions of this, first i couldnt stop listening to the original, then i played forces and loved it even more. But then i heard this one, definitely one of my favorite ost from the sonic franchise.
I'm unsure how they'll top the original, since Supporting Me was already a hell of a banger to begin with. But I hope they manage to blow me away with the new remix for the Biolizard fight.
Chances are, yeah, Shadow G will straight up reuse this and the Cash Cash remix of Radical Highway. HOWEVER, it’d be advisable to boycott it if they reuse the modern remix of Radical Highway. XD

People might say that SA2 Sonic counts as Modern Sonic, but I don't think so. One design flaw that makes them different and definitely makes them different is the eyelids. Instead of having the modern blue eyelids, he has the classic eyelids with instead of blue it was the color of his skin. So this SA2 design is mixed with classic and modern making a completely new Sonic itself people like to call him, Dreamcast Sonic. Which I feel like should've been in Sonic Generations. Because Dreamcast Sonic is a big part of Sonic being the new step SEGA took to redesign Sonic with a brand new design that eventually inspired the Modern Era for Sonic.
Damn it theirs this really sad, and dark lore behind the lizard, and then you have to remind me of that, but actually this is the theme before it fused.
Did we ever confirm what Biolizard is? I assume he's literally an earth lizard with turbo charged cancer. That is why he is effectively invincible. He's perpetually regenerating like Deadpool, but in realistic proportions.
3ds version had The Final boss of sonic 3, sonic adventure 2, and sonic heros. Honestly out of all 6 of them i had the most fun with Perfect Chaos and Biolizard. Egg Dragoon is kinda dumb but eh
This remix doesn’t match the sheer terror Fumie Kumatani did so well with the original. Her tracks will always be my favorites because of how well they fit with Shadow as a character.
This was my first Sonic game. I remember thinking “Why is this boss battle music hit so much hard?” Also this boss was creepy and the music elevated it. I wonder if that was intentional?
The ps3 xbox 360 got perfect chaos as its dreamcast boss so he's outta question. Could've used metal overlord, but he's was WAY too messed up to place in here, and they needed a dreamcast boss. Egg emperor was the other viable option but they used it as the modern era boss, (i agree that sonic vs bio lizard feels wrong) so biolizard it was. Imo Bosses for 3ds should've been big arms, egg emperor, and the either the egg wizard from rush adventure, or the boss of terminal velocity(forgot the damn name) I originally thought the egg king from sonic rush, but that boss is WAY too linear(as were most of the bosses) Ah well, at least we got this treasure of a track remastered
Tbh, I like the original better. It maintains a much darker sound with more grungy instrumentals and some nice distortion letting only keen listeners hear it during battle. I also dislike the beat put on the chorus, where in my opinion was much more effective having a moment of silence. I’ll give it something, If Sonic did fight the Biolizard, he would have a lighter tone.
I mean, most of the episode shadow stuff was from SA2, where this song originated from. Even the forest level had what I believe was white forest from sa2. The only thing not from SA2 was the menu music, that came from shadow's own game.

Yeah but this isn’t shadow’s, version, but i can agree the original is much deeper, and darker plus the distortion is badass, but i do really like hearing the lyrics, to be honest I’d put it like this the original is more to be introspective, and analytical with, but this is the better version to rock out, and it’s more of a banger the original is harder to get hyped to, but I agree with your opinion if you like it more for it being really unique.
@@jepaai20 That's what ruined the song for me tbh. The lyrics were hard to understand in the original which made it more scary and made it feel more like it was made for Shadow.
