0:14, 0:58, 3:06 and 3:31 are those 80's stephen bishop esque melodies that remind me of every ending of Full House from when i was younger. Also emulates the feeling of being alone in your room and staring up at the wall thinking of your crush or significant other. Funnily enough, makes me experience a nostalgia that I never actually experienced, if that makes sense. lol Great demonstration of the dimension C on a keyboard.
Your video is the reason I bought this pedal for my DX7, the operation is as simple as the DX7 itself. and it just sounds really good. I would also like to point out that a German legend wrote something about your video.🤙🏻🍻
I have the dc2w but I'm so jealous for your original one (more MOJO and surely more depth as well). Anyway I like the first synth bass patch a lot... Could be possible to have it please?
Jason have you ever used the DC-2 with the Rhodes? I tried my DC-2 with my suitcase 73 ...It sounded wonky on #4... Is it the overtones from the Rhodes or is it that there is not enuff head room in the DC-2? All the other pedals I use with my Rhodes & Wurli (MXR phase 100/90/45/Micro Chorus... Boss CE-2/PH-1 Phaser sound awesome... The DC-2 not so much... What do you think? Thanks... REPLY

Ah the "brownface" DX-7... Had one long ago and traded it for a Korg Poly-61m which is dead now. Kinda regrets... Haven't been able to replicate the exact magic using my Volca FM. I kinda miss the editing on the old Yamahases.
Rogier - the DC-2 does not have great headroom for line level signals. You'll notice that I have the volume slider at around 50% on the DX7, and it still clips slightly. I've heard the new reissue apparently takes line level signal better!
@@jwoz9 Ugh, it's been a long day and so I've completely overlooked the fact that this was the good old 80s version. Not the re-issue. That sure explains it! Anyway, thanks for the quick answer! I am debating getting either the DC-2 Waza or TC Corona for synth-usage... But I'm still on the fence. I kinda like the TC for all its controls. But with it being digital, I'll expect me hating it within a few months (like the Digitech Nautila). Yep... maybe the DC-2W is the safer bett. Now I just need to find a good place to sell my kidneys so I can afford the damn thing :D
Nice.... I don't like pedals I got a digitech 2100 rack unit and some old ART rack units I can put into a small rack for Giggs I'll do that..... Dx7 is straight up awesome..... I got all newer stuff.... And the dx7 just kills it all..... The sound is In your Face goodness
