I keep a DM-3 on my board. Its a great analog delay (plus I like that it has a buffer).

Great pedal, but pretty much anything Boss does is going to be good. I love the weird noises that those old analog delays can produce. Also, I call fancy chords, 'Holdsworths'. Pretty sure Allan Holdsworth had an extra finger...

hmm I have an original that I bought when they cam out. (lived in Singapore 70s/80s where they cost half as much as in England )... never used it much but this has been a good video and think I'll now use it on the slapjack setting with some reverb for "Mystery Train" Scotty Moore stuff.. thanks ! :)

Dude, if you are a fan of Mike McCready its not overlooked, you already own it. I like placing it before drive pedals. The dirtier the better!

I think the DM3 is pretty close to the DM2 the difference is that the DM3 has less noise.

Purchased a dm-2 right around the end of 2020 with a cluster of other pedals that came out to 50 bucks a piece. Such a great deal. As I watched this, I just ordered a DMh3 for a hundred US plus shipping, which I definitely think will be worth it. But it's probably a kick in the nuts when I paid $50 for the DM-2

I kove 80's Boss effects, but I simply don't understand why Boss messed up those control knob names so totally. It is absolutely ridiculous. Boss Control name vs. reality: Repeat rate = Delay time Intensity knob = Repeat rate Echo = Delay effect level What a mess. 😝 For example Ibanez did not use so misleadind and erratic control names in their pedal they used correct terms like delay time, level, repeat rate in right context.

Ive got a dm3. Its on my board. Also have a behringer... Forgot the model, but its a dm3 clone. Behringer isnt bad, was on my board. But the dm3 is a little better and looks better. But i wasnt unhappy with the Behringer. I use this for a slap back, doubling kinda effect. Think 80s lead, not rockabilly slapback. Ironic that im using a gretsch 6120.
