Great video! Thank you but I have a stupid question, where do you have the wire from the amp plugged into? And is that green cord from guitar to the volume pedal? Thanks again!
Yup, the green cable goes from the guitar into the volume pedal. And after the delay on the lower left of the pedal board, it goes to the looper to the left of that, then to a splitter and then into an amp. (If I remember that layout correctly, I change pedals and layouts a lot).
I'm going direct. I have gone direct and used an attenuator going thru the loop to control things. JHS has a little pedal, i think it's called the 'little black box' or something. I've got a couple around, they work surprisingly well. Or, throw a power-soak between the head and cabs. But, it should also wok thru the loop for you. I just dont usually run od/dist thru the loop, so not 100% sure.
@@marshmallowkid37 that’s awesome and the answer I was hoping for. I have hiss and hum issues and was looking for a solution. I have way more dirt pedals than you so I guess I just copy what you did starting with the input of my “ first” dirt pedal and following suit with the rest of what you did. Coincidentally, I like you have the JHS little black box running thru my effects loop, for my loud vox amp, hence not being able to use effects loop. Thanks so much for the reply!
@@marshmallowkid37 do you run the jhs little black box right in your pedal line? Like I was saying, I run mine thru the effects loop on my amp and pedals thru front. If u run it out the front with ur pedals u just run it in the line like an input output with ur other pedals?
Hello one question not quite get it the noise compressor is the first pedal in the pedal board or last i see you connected in the middle or is after the distortion pedals ty
Really depends on the type of music youre playing. You can use it to isolate whatever is giving you the unwanted noise. But if it is at the end, you could lose a lot of the wanted modation effects (chorus, flanger, phasers) as well as delays, if your using them.
