For years I've been making my own cables using belden wire and switchcraft connectors. THAT was easier that getting these to get good continuity.

My concern is how it’ll hold up in the long run, particularly if you travel and have it in a case, rehearsals, gigs etc.

It’s a myth that they don’t hold up. Plenty of touring pros use solderless cables. You can’t repair a soldered cable onstage.

thanks for the vid bro. Im going to be buying some kind of solder less kit, but when reading the reviews a lot of people are complaining about the connection issues Specifically having to test everyone and repeatedly try to get the connection to work. Is there some truth to that? or is it really just that easy and the quality is great? thanks

For me, I think I had 1 cable I had to take apart and redo because the screw for the ground when in too deep and shorted the “hot” wire. Overall the quality is there, it’s lasted a few months now with zero issues and the cable and connectors look and feel real nice.

Robbie J The quality of the cables is fine... Putting them together and them working is a massive ball ache. I had 2 good out of 12😩 Avoid like the plague and buy Evidence audio SIS.

Free the Tone solderless cables are far better than Boss...

The lack of aesthetics would drive me crazy, but then I tend to get a bit hung up with that! But the Boss design is not exactly top tier without a secure cap fitting, cable quality. I ended up with the D’Addario setup. Haven’t installed everything yet, will have to see how it goes.

Not sure why everyone is saying these cables are pieces of sh!t. Seems like they work. How many of you have actually purchased the $100+ kit to try it yourself? Genuinely curious because I bought some not having seen a demo vid so if they work what’s the big deal

Can anybody please tell me or the RU-vidr that made this video can anybody tell me. Is this one of those kits that comes with many many many tables in one package in one packet in one box or kit itself it comes many many cables and the Box isn't cardboard actually plastic.
