Bosses, What's Your Wildest Employee Complaint Story ? 

I worked as a cashier at a grocery store. They hired a teenager to also be a cashier. She had a habit of disappearing. I was getting pretty annoyed when I was the only cashier and the line was getting really backed up. This happened on a Friday afternoon when the store was super busy. I stepped away from my register to look for her. She had folded herself up and hid in the cubby underneath the register and pulled the trashcan across so no one could see her. I told her to stand up and happily announced that her register was now open. A herd of annoyed customers descended upon her. In retaliation, she complained to our boss about me ratting her out to the customers. In doing so, she admitted to hiding instead of doing her job. Our boss was a really nice lady. She asked the cashier why she thought it was okay to hide instead of doing her job. "Because I don't like the customers, and I don't want to deal with them." The boss gave her another chance but kept a close watch on her. She quit a couple weeks later.

That gas price one reminds me of a couple years ago in Rancho Cardova they misplaced a decimal point and charged 69 cents a gallon instead of 6.99. They lost 16 grand before they fixed the error.

When I worked for Chick-fil-A, our breaks were 20 minutes, and we couldn't bring our own food or leave. You HAD to eat there. I do not miss that place.

I think the Jorts (& Jean) 'racial profiling' story fits here. For those who don't know Jorts is one of two office cats and is orange (Jean is the other she's a tortie). The racial profiling is the one orange braincell stereotype. One coworker took offense of another coworker saying Jorts is stupid.

Good sir i was eating when the poop story came up. I was enjoying my food and bam now i have this vivid image of the poop and half a turkey club to still finish.

Some of those made throw up in my mouth a little...so gross!🤢

The poop....There's not enough brain bleach in the universe to unsee that image.
