Bro I can't get over that build, on how bad ass it looks. I sent Dan a email the very next day and ordered myself a Rovan baja 5b, even after saying I've never been a big fan of the baja. I have to build myself a bad ass street car after seeing yours. I would have to say you inspired me to do that. I wish I would have invested some money in stocks in Rovan and King Motor before that video you made because I'm sure I'm not the only one that bought one after seeing that video Lol. I'm checking the UPS updates every hour like it's gonna get here any faster so I can start my build. Wheelie bars included if you know what I mean.
Botajell has been my go to guy for a year now when it comes to RC. hes so good at what he does. He says it how it is and doesnt bullshit us, call ups and tell em to hurry there ass up! hahahah :)

Brother you should look at the SCZ 29cc engine.........the best small bore engine for a Baja bar none! Easily take that thing over 70mph. And look at a Bebop wheelie bar.....it's the wheelie bar the big bore boys use.

Before you run the SCZ you'll need to take it apart and apply some gasket sealant to the crank case gasket as it has a habit of blowing them out or sucking them in. But it's a monster of an engine......will rev all the way to 21,000rpm+ with the correct pipe.
Welcome to 1/5th scale It's a blast running a 20-30 pound RC around. Don't get me wrong I still love all my nitro's but give me a fast 1/5th scale basher anytime LOL... 😎🤘🇺🇸
Nice work fellow Braaper. Like the new bart pipe and that sweet new motor you just got too. I would definitely put that motor on your Drag baja. You are on your way with the differential cup reinforcement and dom pipe upgrades,Etc. I use the dark horse system on my setups as well and have yet to bend or snap a cup. I have them on my other bashers (King M. X2,Losi,5T,MCD Rally,and my other 2 Baja's)Saves weight compared to those metal reinforced cups. I had a dominator V2 pipe on my dragster as well it's is a little heavy though. Since it is a Drag straight liner, and not a basher I shedded a little more weight by going with a jet pro Pipe. It's 4oz lighter,every little bit helps as I'm sure you know. I'm about done with mine after little over a 8 months of getting it all together. Expensive as sh*t as you know brother. My bill is at about 2,500 so far. OBR Zenoah .46cc reed case race ported motor chromed out courtesy of Dan at O'neals thanks brother!(right at 12hp dyno'd),Walbro WT- 813 carb modded with the bearings from DDM(lots of straight line speed,not designed for bashing less torque but it has the drip jet that is perfect for a dragster) It's tricky to tune but once set it's rock solid and FAST ,just doesn't like you burping the throttle too much,A Jet pro pipe raw(same style as Dominator V2 but lighter) killer RC power starter unit(sheds quite a bit of weight not having the pull system) Turtle racing aluminum clutch fan,MIP 6 shoe clutch adjusted to 8,500Rpm,vertigo vented clutch housing(great weight reducer and better cooling as well), with a vertigo vented clutch bell.2 speed system(alot of extra one way bearings LOL) HPI sway bar/roll bar kit setup stiff (The rovan was ok but didn't have the 3 different stiffness options like the HPI does,but it works)this helps alot with keeping her straight with alot less wiggle,K&N ufo style filter(too shove the air straight into carb), Carbon fiber parts everywhere I could find a substitute too the stock components.Modded the stock roll cage and used the two side window panels and front panel for better wind resistance,while leaving enough cool air flow too carb and the motor(it's worth the little extra weight especially if she does a rolly at 100mph!). I'm getting there,next up Tomorrow is the Integy rear machined hydraulic brake system to get stopped quicker then I'm going for a few on the track speed trap runs to get her redialed in. First and second runs on it I was getting 99-105mph,it kept up with my buds zenoah twin beast.,Tomorow evening will be her third run hoping too see somewhere around 109-110 or so since I have cut another 2.5 pounds off her,with my recent mods. Fingers crossed,many more runs ahead. Drag time is coming up here in Nashville in Sept. We usually wait till it cools down so everyone can run what they brung without burning down there sh*t. naveed khan lol 😝!! .21 Paloma is good and cheap for Buggy but my favorite is .21 Bonito and I I also like the .21 Mito 7 for Buggy and for Truggy get the 28-8 or a LRP .32 X series

Awesome build again good choice on the pipe haha. I think I’m getting so amped up with this build that before winter I’m gonna strip my Najwa to the chassis essentially and over winter swap in some nice upgrades and a more powerful motor. What would be a good choice and step up from the stock baja motor? Are the big bore kits worth the gains at all? I mostly just play in the dirt and on some hills.
longboardguy the Big bores like what? The RCMAX and ALX Engines?? Or a big bore kit? Because if you go with those engines you will need to upgrade everything lol !! A stock G320 would be fun in and reliable in a Baja ! No need for more unless you want more ??

I got way more chrome on my LOSI 5T it will almost blind you 😂.
