I'm amazed how many id@#$ running low res in this meta, 120HCs will punish you for that, stasis freeze damage will too, which escalates very well with it, 7 resilience all day.

I was originally running 100 on both recov and discipline but all my other stats were kinda trash. Now i have 80 in those two stats but resilience and most other stats are at 5 and my god does it make a difference.

I have a rangefinder/explosive payload roll with appended mag, smallbore and a range masterwork and it is the most consistent hand cannon ive ever used. The hit registration is insane. It 3 taps up to 50 meters tested on guardians at 5 resilience. Bullets just connect, feels so sticky even without my helmet targeting mod.

Yeah if you’re on controller EOTS is absurd but I switched to M&K and my Austringer suddenly wasn’t as good as it was on console but for people wanting to get good with a 120 in PvP I suggest Eye of the storm on any hand cannon especially a 120

An interesting combo would be the slideshot high impact reserves roll along with the last word and lucky pants. This would mean that if you can’t get the two tap, swapping quickly to the last word for clean up would be easy. Additionally, this would reprime the bottom dollar on one shot, which would be effective in close range, as you would be able to shoot once for 97 to the head, and then clean up with last word. Just a theory build, but could be interesting.

My first (and only) roll was Surplus/Wellspring. I can confirm, Surplus feels great on this hand cannon. Even if you don’t have abilities charged, it’s not like the gun is unusable either

2 rolls, both the stability MW 1. Smallbore, Accurized, SlideShot & MKC 2. Chambered/Hammerforged, Accurized, Rangefinder, OpeningShot. QD, Rampage would be my ideal roll though!

I've now pulled several rolls on this gun that I liked. Out of all the ones I've had, that includes rolls such as rapid hit/high impact reserves as well as outlaw/multikill clip, the best roll I've pulled for PvP is slideshot/rampage. I have a surplus/dragonfly roll for PvE as well. I can say I am equally happy with both slideshot and surplus on this gun. The bonuses from surplus are insane, but you lose a lot as soon as you have a couple abilities on cooldown. Slideshot is easy to proc at any time for decent bonuses that includes the auto-reload. Rapid hit is okay I guess, but it feels like it's very minor bonuses anymore. I seem to recall those reload perks being nerfed a bit some time ago, and rapid hit just doesn't feel the same anymore.

Lolz. 30? Good luck with that, seriously Edit/Update: 5200 in on my 3rd reset, I got hammer forged, flared, killing wind and ramp. Range MW. Competitive imo, but I'd prefer surplus, MKC. Another million gambit matches it is Edit 2: At 6120, same reset and I got another one. I FEEL like invading aggressively in increasing the drop rate, but such a small sample size. These last two came when I decided to finish my gilded dredgen with the invade triumph (at 5200 and 6120). I'm gonna grind till I get surplus/mkc. Surplus is best on this thing, snappy handling and quick reloads, extra stability for help on shots. Surplus/mkc would be the end all in a pro's hands imagine Frost or panda chaining 2 tapps

Got two last night:- feeding frenzy+ opening shot, with extended barrel and accurized rounds (range masterwork) rangefinder+ opening shot, with polygonal rifling and appended mag (handling masterwork) The first has better range than most of my scout rifles.....and sniper rifles 😀

Had a few of these drop over several infamy resets and up until yesterday my best rolls had been two, both with feeding frenzy and MKC and various B tier 1st / 2nd column / masterwork perks between them. Pretty nice, but feeding frenzy just doesn’t really cut it on its own without arm reloaders or subclass reload perks. Then yesterday I got a hammerforged/ accurized / outlaw / rampage with yup, range masterwork. Wowsers this thing is a beast!

Makes me wish that some perks changed the guns the way they did in d1. Some perks were needed on a gun like stability perks on red spectre or doctrine. But since most weapons in a type and then archetype have eerily similar stats outside of available perks I'd like to see perks do more for range and stability. I like damage boosting perks in pve especially because enemies can be a pain to fight and in pvp just to style on people. But I'd like to see my perks do more for just damage especially in pvp. Like waking vigil was the first gun I went for stability and range for.

Heya, just wanted to say, I ended up getting a killing wind, explosive payload and I love it, the flinch, the range, the movement, my HC targeting got deleted, I do not even miss it, the funky-ness from explosive payload then the increased accuracy from killing wind, my god I love it

I have a beautiful roll: with rampage/rangefinder. 85 recoil direction, 64 stability(masterworked), 66 aim assist and 66 range. I've never felt any weapon that is this good. Seriously. Edit: I got that yellow version of dredgen while trying to get this...

@@wethepeople8280 I'm on ps4. I've only ever used a true prophecy scince the 120 buff and this feels way better. I've always like high impact weapons. I used to main jade rabbit with an energy slug but 120 hand cannons are basically what scout rifles always whised to be. I'm happy that they got their buff. I do not even use targeting, I only use loader and unflinching. I almost have 1k pvp kills with my bottom dollar already! It's just personal preference. don't worry about it

I got three of these in one session of like five gambit matches. The first roll I got had accurized rounds, outlaw and multikill clip with range masterwork. The other two have very similar perks. I think I am set for the rest of the season. In total I now have five of them sitting in my vault, and I only plan on keeping one.

I honestly just wait for trials hc, this one is good, but that drop rate is incredibly low. With insane amount of perks, this really isnt worth my time.

It have to when you doing 50 gambit Matches for it. I feel it so much! Everytime i doing things to get something special it doesn't drop. And everytime you play something with no expectations bungie hit me with the palindrome for example on the first run with a semi god roll

I got one with corkscrew rifling, accurized rounds, rangefinder, and explosive payload. I love it no matter what I’m playing. I’m about to take it into my first presage.

I'm a pve main, and for my weekly powerful on my first character I got a wellspring, slide shot, then max range or max stability perks (range MW). Then on my next character I got a nice pali drop: rampage, KW, RR, corkscrew, (reload MW) after my first ordeal run.

@@crystalanimosity2374 you know there are over 9000 possible rolls on the gun right with it's drop rate and that many rolls the chances of you getting a god roll before it sunsets are tiny and I have been playing gambit I've gotten one and it's roll is trash and also gambit is trash, it's drop rate and the other new playlist weapons are to low i got two fucking shadow price before i got the strike weapon to drop now go away white knight

Haven’t played a ton with it yet, but I got pulse monitor and rampage. I think it could mix well for giving you back ammo in the short mag after getting a kill, letting you take advantage of rampage.

These drops rates are ridiculous, I'm halfway through my second crucible reset of the season and I've not had one sniper drop. I'm not even bothering going for Bottom Dollar if this is the way Bungie wants to stretch player involvement.

Went on Gambit yesterday for the first time in months almost a year and got ‘Bottom Dollar’ first game with rampage/hip-fire grip and a stability masterwork may not be the best but I like it.

I grinded it for PvE and got a couple good ones. I have one with outlaw/multi kill clip and another with killing wind/rampage. They both hold up really well in pve
