It's crazy how Gambit is actually a really great and fun mode that I literally loved for a year. It just got completely ruined by invader metas and idiotic blueberries that can so easily sabotage everything

This is my gripe! I would end majority of my matches with half banked and most kills but if I lost the match it was cuz someone kept invading on our side and dying or instead of them mowing down the envoys they are killing the ads. Like wipe out the one that’s grants immunity to the envoy first but nah they sit there not knowing what to do. By the time I notice what’s going on the enemy done caught up and are doing more damage to the primeval while they neglect to kill the invader and get mopped left and right.

I have 4 gambit resets this season and honestly it's not as bad as people make it out to be as long as you play on double rep weeks. Just don't sweat winning or losing since it's so easy for a match to go bad due to one teammate or a "skilled" invader

I reset mine every week 😂 if not every other. I have 97/98 engrams to turn in. I was going for laser painter early in the season thinking it would be like Zavala you get to farm he NF weapons. I didn’t realize until way into this season it’s not part of te focusing weapons.

Try using the "Powerful Attraction" mod for class items, it works with gambit motes to collect them in a large radius around you. 😄

The fact that you could charge it up easily before invading, that changes the dynamic of the gun a lot, especially during a review.

It also is extremely effective against invaders. You can 3 tap them and their overshields with enough stacks of dynamic charge. So what I do in Gambit is that I make sure I have max stacks of it and simply reserve revolution for either a potential invader, or if I'm the one invading.

The catch 22 with Gambit is it's fun if you play with a team against a team (or some pugs for that ez clap) but not a lot of people play gambit. I enjoy playing on double rep weeks solo because every game is very different and you can be on a cracked team or you can crack as a team

Try it in iron banner fortress, I racked up 2k kills in an ib week this last season it’s extremely strong once you get 7+ stacks, you might want to use 1 targeting mod too

I’ve been using it religiously for a long time (well over 3 years now). I’m practically forcing everyone I’m fighting to play heads or tails to determine what I’ll do next. The longer I’m left alive for, the higher the chances that I can be a threat to everyone for 10 seconds. I’m currently at well over 18,000 Crucible Opponents Defeated on it.

Lololol. Gambit is my favorite. I only play crucible during mayhem, iron banner, and rift weeks. I usually at least get two resets of Gambit every season I play so much. I wish more people would do montages like this. It really is funny.

This was actually a very entertaining video!! I do enjoy playing gambit myself. It’s not something I play all the time though. It can be so frustrating when you have clowns who don’t pick up the motes, leave a ton on the ground, or don’t bank properly. Dudes banking 3 to start a game, or someone banking 14 when they could have gotten a large blocker with one more more, lol. No you gonna see Symmetry in every gambit match!! 🤣😂

Literally my favorite gun to run in gambit, I have 1200 crucible kills on mine, almost all of them are from gambit invasions/defenses. Its so satisfying to watch that tracking two tap from across the map and you know the other team was like "wtf was that?!?"

my fave loadout is solar, with shards/blade barrage or star eater/Marksman GG, I use Reckless Endangerment/Polaris Lance/Cry Mutiny, I lean into scorch & ignitions with self-healing. Shotties are great for blockers, Polaris gives range & its good for ammo/AoE plus decent for laying into tanky enemies, the GL kinda wrecks too, all are rituals so no grinding for rolls.

I got killing wind rampage on bottom dollar and it goes HARD. All you need is one kill, then BOOM it’s a powerhouse. You get all these benefits after 1 kill: -50 mobility -50 handling -20 range with 5% damage falloff buff -increased sprint speed (same as transversive steps/dune marchers/stompees -10% damage buff (which obviously increases if you chain kills) That’s 5 (technically 6 if you make the 1.05x damage falloff a separate benefit) just for getting 1 kill.

@aztecross I picked up a arrowhead, accurized, surplus, explosive with handling mw just now. 100 recoil direction. Only 70 range though. 80 with the hammer forged barrel it has.
