Almost got emotional when Saurus mentioned they battled 15 years ago. Incredible how time flies so fast. Topr deserved this battle after all these years. NY could learn something from these West Coast rappers. They show respect when it's due for each other and maintain freindships through thick and thin. Soon Saurus will get married and produce mini dictionaries, while battle rap history continues to write classics. This is a historical classic!

I thought Head Lice slowed the battle down on some step and fetchit garbage...If you aren't in a battle you should shut the fuck up, especially if you're up on the stage with the promoters..Then Ice is up there grabbing the guys' jerseys...Ridiculous...

Wow ... Topr . Great battle all around. Definitely delivered more then what I thought it would. I have it Topr 2-1 maybe 3-0 depending on how you feel about the second. Thesaurus was dope but man Topr shit just hit way harder to me. Definitely a battle you can rewatch. If you feel different I'm not salty at you. Head Ice could charge people to hype up their bars during battles 🤘🏼

Every now and then I feel like I don't enjoy battles as much any more and then something like this comes out and I remember why I've spent so many hours of my life watching men aggressively spout poetry at one another.
Okay after multiple watches of this battle I'm convinced, TOPR's Dr. Frankenstein bar was probably the best bar ever spit in history. So. Fucking. Insane!
a lotta folks don't know the history of the open mic & street cipher scenes out in the Bay Area from the 90's to 2000's.. The magnitude of this battle is beyond epic and I was blown away by both performances, especially not hearing TOPR battle for ages when he used to battle folks on the street like my friend one time outside the Rock'n Java next to Amoeba records on Haight Street SF.. Really glad to see folks appreciate this battle in an evolved era wether online or when it was live- Head Ice had me cracking up the whole time, but I probably would've done the same if I was standing right there, haha..
