this masterpiece was crafted by the Famous perfumer Annick Menardo.There is nothing on this EDP version of amazing Jaipur pour homme on Fragrantica, which is a shame.im just going to share the information/link of the edt here below. this is a masculine, mature, cold weather sophisticated fragrance.major notes to my nose are classy lemon, cinnamon, sandawood and vanilla. its very potent and id recommend to go out there and try, not a blind buy worthy fragrance.but definitely top notch quality at best.check out Boucheron Jaipur EDP review of mine :)

The EDP quickly became my favorite fragrance in my entire collection. Its so special and unique, there’s nothing else like it. That creamy, spiced baby powder sillage around you will stop the traffic. It’s a masterpiece and everything I ever wanted.

Recently went through duty-free at the airport and sampled some of the pure parfum : elixir , I’ve been collecting frequencies for 20+ years and All of the major houses are producing super expensive parfum / elixir concentrations that are simply inferior . Interparfums have done a fantastic job with the reformulation. I have a couple of original bottles with the metal casing and there is very little difference . Great review brother.

Absolutely true I started wearing this in 98 and the compliments I mean it last all day and when you shower that night it lights the whole bathroom up the best cologne ever

I just received this yesterday after watching Dan (Mr. Smelly) and you are right, it's fantastic. It was only $32 and is probably my best buy ever. I have Boucheron Pour Homme EDP on order and should get it any day now as well. Funny that you mentioned L'Instant de Guerlain because I absolutely love it and wear it often as well as Eau Sauvage. It's great to see you appreciate more classic scents!

Wow just wow. The first review I ever saw you do Joy was Jaipur EDT. Now seeing this review brings me so much happiness. I own the EDP and yes it is creamier but I have a hard time deciding if I like it better than the EDT. I agree that more reviewers should get their noses on this gem.

I have a super old bottle of the edt 18 years old and its perfect it sparkles I dont think I need it to be any richer than the bottle I have I actually wore it yesterday love it, also have a 20 year old bottle of pour homme and its a freaking monster of a fragrance.

Thank you, Joy, for your excellent and right-on review of Jaipur. I heard of it recently and also tested it recently. As you say, I am a decades-long fan of Eau Sauvage EDT. Recently I also purchases the cologne and the perfume. All three are very different. Jaipur, the EDT that I found and tested, does compare well to this type of scent. When I see citrus and sandalwood, I am there! Today I ordered a few sample vials of the EDP of Jaipur and I am anxious to receive them. Apparently the masses are not terribly aware of this one (good for us!). That may reduce the chance of counterfeit. I have noticed that everything Boucheron does is special and classy.

Hi Joy..good review..Jaipur is a royal city with forts and palaces..capital of Rajasthan..also called the pink city because of the Red sandstone used in all old buildings..sandalwood is found only in the south indian region..being a neighbour you should hv brushed lil more geography ☺

This bottle is really beastmode. Got my bottle 2 days ago. 1 spray before going to bed. 20 hours later, still have skin scent. Projected for hours too. One of the Best value for your dollar

I had a sample of this year's ago. I liked the scent, but it didn't work on my skin. This was one of the few fragrances that I have had that I loved the smell of, but once it hit the skin it just didn't work.

Joy, your a great individual, very humorous, cheeky & honest, but bro..your reviews are always off. I've made so many blind purchases based on your reviews & everytime I'm let down, even this one smells nothing like you describe, smells like a better version of mandate & certainly is NOT 'beastmode' as you say. Buyers beware: Since 2020 Jaipur EDP/EDT don´t last long. It was reformulated. In my skin it lasts only 2h. The older batches( until 2018 were amazing, it lasted an entire day, but not anymore).

I love jaipur boucheron edp opening however I really really don't like the drydown , mostly because I am sensitive to Patcholi. And on Fragrantica it didn't say it had Patchouli. I should've read elsewhere before blind buying :(

Joy, I think the bottle and the cap is a take on a Boucheron watch! If you look at their watches the knob is often fitted with a blue sapphire, so I don't think it has anything with temples to do! Same as the Cartier Roadster, just compare the cap with the knob on the roadster watch!

The cabochon style/shape of the cap is a hallmark of Boucheron. You find it in their watch faces and crowns, in their rings, in other jewelry, and you soon begin to recognize Boucheron items when you see them. The style of the bottle plus cap reflects both the city and the style of the house of Boucheron. In all, including the scent, this is quality and style!

I remember using Jaipur the EDT when it came out back in the 90'. I really enjoyed it back then. Fast forward to now, l just bought the edp 10 days ago and man am I in love. The edp is everything Joy has said and then some. But... but... it's not a simple scent it can come off as old and dated. You just have to give it a chance. For the most part, It's a colder weather type of scent. The best part of all I got it for 35 dollars.

I would love to know where you found the EDP for $35. In Canada, a trusted retailer sells 100 ml for $130. Today I ordered some sample vials. The only time I have worn Jaipur is from a tester of the EDT at my duty-free shop ($70/100 ml).

@@randallprue sorry I just saw this reply, to answer your question, I live in Miami. I bought it at a tjmax, funny thing is it kept on being price reduced. I first saw it priced at 49.99, then 40dollars, then after about 2 weeks they put it for 35 and I couldn't resist. Best 35 dollars I've spent.

I have the EDP and EDT, I agree...if you have the EDP then dont bother with the EDT.... since I have both I layer them since they are so similar otherwise I'd probably only use the EDP....

this is what i wanted to know too. seems like edt is a little sweeter and should be taken by younger guys (30 and under) and edp is more spicier and should be taken by 35 and over guys

@@snortchgortch4253 I feel like Jaipur depends a lot on personal chemistry. In the winter I thought it matched the season because it felt heavier but getting into warmer weather months it fairs a lot nicer than I expected. Wonderful surprise.

Dear Joy, allow me a suggestion. I noticed you always include a FRAGRANTICA link about the perfume you are reviewing. It would be a good idea and an improvement, to include as well a link to the respective PARFUMO page as well ( www.parfumo.net ). PARFUMO has more serious, detailed and complete information about the fragrances. You may even attach your review to the perfume PARFUMO page like PEPDAL and SEBJAR do as well. PEPDAL and SEBJAR are the PARFUMO names of two well known RU-vid fragrance reviewers, owners of the "The Scentinel" and the "Smelling Great" RU-vid channels).
