The EDP is an absolute masterpiece. Couldn’t agree more. Worn it since it was released in 1997 and still have two of the original gun metal cases that housed the bottles. I will wear this frag forever.
Absolutely sir, incredible juice and way way above its price point in terms of quality and value. Still one of my favourite ever fragrances. Thanks for watching!
This is an amazing fragrance and this is a very accurate review. I probably know this fragrance better than most of the around 200 fragrances that I own. What I would say is that I have done umpteen side by side tests between the EDT and EDP. I really don’t find any significant difference in the performance or scent profile of either. The summer aquatic version of this (Jaipur Homme Limited Edition) is one of my favourites. Long lasting for a summer edition and as delicious as the original.
Thank you very much for your feedback Jonathan! I have never actually tried the EDT of this but still really want to. Yeah, that review was two years ago now and I still feel the same about Jaipur. Still in my top 5. Thanks again mate and take care x
Great review and very humorous. I have the EDT and find it to be very long lasting so I can imagine the EDP is nuclear performance . Beautiful juice, I concur 100%. Nothing like it. 👍🏻
cobra10a Cheers mate! Yeah, I kind of undersell the projection on this one a bit. It’s actually BEAST MODE in the heat, seriously. Great in cold weather too of course but I have a thing about it on hotter days. It’s almost a form of childish and antisocial rudeness. EPIC! Thanks for watching bro and check out my other vids.
Thanks for the review, just tried it in a beauty base and blown away! Like what Roger Moore in octopussy would smell like! Then half way through like someone has just taken a apple pie out of the oven and dusted it with cinnamon sugar, wow, them later still like lemon ice cream, just stunning! Will be buying this mark my words!
Cheers Michael! Absolutely absolutely 100% get it. If you liked it the first time you smelled it, then it’s only going to grow on you. It is hands down one of the best fragrances I’ve ever encountered. I have several 100ml bottles, I wear it often and I will probably review it again. Thanks for the great comments and thanks for watching!!!
Great review man! This one has been on my list to try for awhile and I hope to try it soon. I do love most oriental fragrances i have tried so I'm sure I will love this one. I am hoping to try the pour homme as well. Keep up the good work man!
I really really wanted to enjoy this based on reviews when i blind bought it, but it just doesn’t do it for me. It smells like my 65 y/o grandmother. She wears a fragrance VERY much like this. I had the cap breaking on me too lol
I'm sure I'll have this eventually although Orientals are not my favourite genre. Are there any similarities to Boucheron Pour Homme? I have this and do like it. - Slick and articulate review mate and nice to see you're making an effort with fragrance pronunciation ( poor pronunciation irritates me ), it adds to the overall quality i think. - Well Done !
Paul Hegarty No, it’s not like Boucheron Pour Homme at all Paul. Jaipur is sweet, citric and spicy. I think Pour Homme is along similar lines to the original Dior Eau Sauvage EDT but I only sniffed Pour Homme very fleetingly and I’ve never smelled Eau Sauvage EDT so can’t confirm.
Paul Hegarty. I had a tough time deciding between the two Boucheron fragrances. Each deserves the 10/10 given here. In 1990-ish, my friend in France began with Pour Homme, and switched to Jaipur when it was released. I had never heard of either but I know the fragrance shops (he is now living in Canada where I am). He asked me to procure Jaipur EDP for him, and in the process, I acquired samples of both in EDT and EDP. I figure that my friend owes me the price of a bottle because I now must have Pour Homme EDP. He is very happy with Jaipur EDP. With both of them, the difference is the concentration, which is as it should be. The house is very classy and both of the fragrances represent this. If you obtain both, it is money well spent. The upsell to EDP is a few dollars. Do it! My main event is Pour Homme but I also bought 15 ml of Jaipur EDP for myself.
Regards mate, I just want to ask you, is this fragrance wearable for younger populations like teens in 20's and is it safe for "blind buy"? Thank you, cheers ✌️
Hi Benjamin. I would say probably for the average person, not really blind-buy safe, it’s a bit unusual. However, for the real fragrance aficionado, then definitely. I love blind-buying, especially when it’s a very reasonable price like this one is. I think I mentioned in the video that I wasn’t super impressed with this one when I first smelled it but it is now in my top five fragrances ever. Almost all my current favourite fragrances were blind-buys. Jaipur Homme Eau de Parfum is stunning stuff. Thank you for watching!! ❤️
Joe Slacker Yes Joe, you can find out. Go onto the CheckFresh website and put in the brand and the batch code then calculate and it will give you the date of production. The batch code can be found on the box and on the bottle. It will look stamped or printed onto the box, usually on the bottom. It is not the number that corresponds to the barcode but a separate one that looks added after box production. Just so you know, even modern Jaipur is good. Here’s the CheckFresh site. www.checkfresh.com/
Brooks brothers NY gentleman is a great spicy musk fragrance with a vetiver CO2 extract, it has muscenone delta , carnation, Calone and melonal, lemon and orange peel cinnamon type stuff etc. it’s a great spicy musky fresh aftershave type smell and goes for about 50 bucks edp concentration too. Only 74 % alcohol
Hey Wooster! My number one frag is.......Jean Paul Gaultier Fleur Du Male. By a relatively recent development, Xerjoff Zefiro is now probably my second. But hey, these things can change. Except Fleur Du Male which will always be King for me. Thanks for the sub!!!
