A wonderful example from this locality of black steel gray to dark micro hair-like needles of Boulangerite. Boulangerite is a sulfosalt mineral and typically forms in a unique crystal habit of fine acicular crystals that appear as woven, hair-like fibers. Specimens from this locality come from old miners and were collected decades ago. Specimen comes from the historically mined but now closed and refilled upper levels of the Madem-Lakkos deposit in Northern Greece.
Thank you for watching.
