This feature is to me the greatest new feature of the RC505 MKII. It allows for so many possibilities. I'm still mad at this loopstation that crashes every now and then, but I must say, I'm impressed with this magic trick. :)
BTW, it is possible to record TRACK FX without having to mute/turn faders down. However, you must target your TRACK FXs to only one track (out of 5), thus making it less flexible. I didn't mention it here but I may do it in an additionnal video. ;)

Hi! I'm experimenting with the mk2 and I found something intresting: It's possible to bounce the track fx of every type on a track also if all tracks are not bounce abilited, but in order to do that you have to set the track fx not on "all" but on that specific track on the "target option". I discover it because I found the same mecchanism for the inputfx: if on one of your track you have blocked some input like mic2 or inst1 (for exemple if you want to loop your Beatbox and, at the same time, you don't want to loop someone else voice) the input fx will be not recorded also on the Beatbox that you loop if the target of the fx is set on "all" you have to set it specifically on the input you are using to rec (for exemple mic1) to record it. And the strange thing is that in this situation the fx come alway 50:50 dry/wet, also for fx like traspose. I don't know the reason, it's a strange mecchanism, probably it can works better. Hope this can be usefull for any people, bye!

Hey ! Yes I figured this out also but as you said it comes out a bit strange. It doesn't work well for me either, and it is not very flexible also since the Track FX may need to be applied on not just one but 2 tracks. I hope this will be fixed with an update :)

Already subscribed, liked and now commenting. I got my MK2 on preorder now, hoping it to arrive end of february. I really appreciate these tips/ tutorial videos, cause there are not many who do this. Thank you man 🔥 The only negative aspect I see is losing a little dynamic without being able to undo/redo parts. But on the other hand, it just breaks all previous limits we just had. I can't even imagine how beautiful future loop tracks will be, and am even scared, cause it will be much harder to keep up now 😅

I'm a new looper fan, I love the beatbox stuff but I'm not that good at it, its amazing how you do the live stuff with all the rembering of settings and timing and everything, this is by far the hardest but most fun istrument Ive ever learned.. Im using my rc505 mk2 with guitar and vsts and practicing the beatboxing..but this really helped. Thanks man

I had no idea what a "bounce" feature was. But I'm so happy I found this, and that I forked over ethe dough for a mk2 now. This is exactly what made the Korg Kaoss Pad 3 so awesome (and probably others, but that one I know like my pocket). I was already afraid that this wasn't possible, it would have been a total letdown. I would have literally returned the Mk1 for missing this feature. Only complaint now is that the timing of the bounced track shifts by a few msec, but i can live with that.

Right now I’m saving for the MK2 Because I can’t really find mk1 at decent price but I just really want to start to learn how to loop(never even touched a loopstation). Like I know on paper what you guys are doin or like I saw Matej’s video using the mk2, the interface looks a little disorienting compared to the mk1 but idc I’ve been geeking for so long I just really want to express all these musical ideas and you guys are such a great inspiration man. So you are no longer limited to 5 tracks, you can essentially have 10 on one machine! That's insane, can't believe I haven't heard about this effect yet. Also nice touch adding the members at the conclusion of the video.

Thanks for the awesome explanation of bounce tracks and how to use them :) In case this helps others, I use auto record when laying down instrumental tracks and happened to notice that bounce doesn't function at all when auto-rec is enabled on the loop memory itself.

I would love reviews on popular secondary devices like the TC Helicone etc. There is a plethora of reviews already out there, but none of them are really covering the information that I as a looper want and need. I know that this isn't rly your cup of tea, but maybe there are others in the looping scene willing to make such content

I absolutely do not like the Helicon voicelive or touch. Personal opinion. I find the menus too complex and not user friendly, I also hate the harmony sounds. I use kaoss pad 3+ before and after my two 505´s
