you need to consider, in a subscription plan you dont need to worry about the longevity of the battery, which is around 3 years after which the KWH degrades
The subscription model makes sense for Ola/Uber two wheel taxi or scooty rentals in tourist places , they would be doing > 60km a day and need quick battery swaps.
I was very much interested in it. But they reduced themselves with the stupid battery swapping subscription plans. With 1250rs, 35 per swap, 50 km range, it costs me 1670rs monthly for 20km/day where as my existing petrol bike would cost me below 1200rs. As said in video, I would be spending extra every month after 1.5 years till I own this baggage. The bike somehow is designed to look small. At 80k ex-showroom , it's performance can't be justified. Their excessive focus on swapping would work only if interoperability comes in, prices lowered.
The price with the battery and charger is less than Activa disc version. How are you still complaining? This is pretty VFM, assuming build quality is decent
@@sanketshirke6428 you are right, with battery+charger(RoI@80k),I need not subscribe plans. But, I am saying at that price, it's features and performance is not adequate.
Biggest problem with e scooter is after service & battery replacement. Don't know how long we can use battery.. Mostly r focussed on selling. I have also booked for Rs, 499-/- Eco mode is also not bad at 40km/h . Range 65-70
It's best to utilise complete boot as battery for higher range in EVs than storage in 2 wheelers such that range goes to 300 km.if it is available it's a big game changer
If they make use of the front leg rest space (inside) as battery this could get almost 100-120km or range in real life conditions. With battery swaping this could sell like hot cakes.
Good information. Some suggestions. 5kw battery for real world required, so Range should be more. BMS should be improved. Seat length needs to increase by 6,7 inch. For good ride. 12 inch tube less tyre required for long ride
Almost all the scooters available today are slow speed scooters, even Ather does a max of 85kmph. A 65kmph top speed is reasonable enough and is much better than the 25 and 40kmph scooters that we see on the roads aplenty.
Seems nice scooter better then ola. Plz mention how much unit of electricity is use to charge battery from zero to full. It will be helpful to calculate monthly expenses
2:44 *That's the reason SWAP & PAID charging will NOT workout for eScooters* ... considering the huge costs of battery allocation per vehicle + cost of land in prime location. *Swap stations are such a waste of resources* ... It will be a WONDER if profits in charging can cover the rent for such a swap station for the station owner. Fast charging stations for cars at vantage points (like before climbing mountain ghata between Mumbai-Pune etc) would be better option. India's EV equation has changed a lot since last 5 yrs: Bounce is now owned by Ather Ather is now owned by HeroMotorCorp... don't know if the boys Tarun & Swapnil get heard anymore. Their eScooter 340 was a great EV... 450X is made by petrolheads and an energy drainer. *The difference is as stark as chalk & cheeze.*
These companies open and run until investors money exaust then bankruptcy and blame others for what happened and escape, this is not first of its kind in india.
Let's see something practical. It's always said that asa the battery is discharged and u have to charge it back, one should give a break for 30 minutes so that the cells cool down and then charging starts. Same happens when the user charges the battery. Asa the battery is charged, one has to give a break for the cells to cool down again and then use the battery in scooter. In battery swapping will it not hamper the life of battery packs and moreover there are more chances of mishaps like catching fire / overheating / bms failure. What has company planned for all these situations.
Its without battery and u hv take subscription per month to swap ur discharged battery from one fully charged battery avialable at battery swapping station
That's impressive technology. Hope same thing can be extended to electric cars too so that people can just swap the empty battery with recharged one in charging station.
They add one fixed battery on floor board and another well capacity battery on underseat storage. Little bit max 80kmph with 120plus range is to make best ev scooter. Hope ev getting better day by day. Hope ola address most of the issues meantime. Ather also wakesup to introduce new model with less repairing cost. Most common man hate subcription charges. Most of them want simple and easy to maintanance and cut cost drastically compare to petrol vehicles.
It is easy to make an electric motor go in either direction by changing the direction of current. So, it is a simple feature any electric system can give. And many people find it difficult to reverse when at a slope or if there is an obstacle like road-edge behind. This helps such people.
It’s a 2 wheeler rental provider in Bangalore. They have scooters and e-scooters that are placed throughout the city and you can use it from their app. I think they are available in Hyderabad as well.
There is a major flaw with this swappable battery idea, Why would anyone want to swap their battery with 100% health to the one with 80% health or below that?
Nice addition to the ev two wheelers. Pure EV Etrance Neo already available, approximately at this price point. So its a tough competetion. But one this is sure, now no need to look for ICE two wheelers.
Don't believe this marketing gimmicks. I choose Bounce over other domain expert options since it was homegrown company from Blore. They haven't perfected the vehicle yet. It seems they don't even have a clue about quality control Its been just over 20 days since delivery and Top speed is barely clocking 40 as opposed to claimed 65 Drag mode not working. USB charging not working. Drag mode not working. Apparently there is a version update already. There's 100 more minor glitches and panel gaps etc and local dealers have no clue how to sort these. So if you have booked please try to cancel to save yourself out of trouble.
Let's see the sales figures in 6 months. Bounce vs Ola. 22 flow motors actually wanted to have 160 km range. Bounce bought them. Bounce seems to have reduced the range to 80 km due to their focus on battery swapping. And bounce didn't even start deliveries. Although I trust bounce for deliveries, the Pure EV Etrance Neo is better value for money with claimed range of 120 km.
Let’s see how things will pan out have test ride in Bangalore on 26th based on own test ride, will plan whether to book or cancel the initial booking. Right I am optimistic on Bounce EV Scooter 🏍
Is it a rule or law which states that every E SCOOTER has to look quirky ? 🤔🤔 Why can't they look nice and elegant like bajaj chetak ?? I think more number of people will like a nice and stylish E SCOOTER.
