Paddling on the Nina Moose River to a lake called Agnes. Join us as we find a campsite, that is full of Red Pines. With an incredible view. After setting up the hammocks and tent. We're off to find a school of walleyes for tonight's dinner. Which will be to cook on an open fire. And to end the day. Watching the sunset as we talk of the past trips in the Boundary Waters. Only to wake up the next morning. Ready to do it all over again.

Thanks Marine for another great video!!! I’m living vicariously through y’all’s adventures!!! Two years ago I retired and decided to do some hiking/camping. I decided to go with the Warbonnet sleep system which I love and because I’m a photographer I got an Atlas Adventure pack, which is another story!!!!! Then it all came down!!!!! My wife had a surgery and then I followed her with one of my own!!! Then for 2 years we followed that pattern!!! I got out a few times, but it wasn’t exactly what I wanted or planned on. But now that we’ve had a very mild winter and spring is upon us, and we both seem to be healthy, I’m planning on going out at least once every week for an overnighter or longer!!!!! Stay safe everyone!!’n

That is so wonderful that both of you guys are getting healthier. Great to hear! Some time life throws us some wrenches. They say the greatest lotion for health. Is motion. Get back out in God's great creation and absorb it all in. Thank you so much for watching.

Man, that fried walleye looked outstanding! Now I’m hungry for a nice fish sandwich & s’mores. And the beautiful scenery & camaraderie goes without saying. That’s the life!

I just love our BWCA trips! We really know how to get out and enjoy nature and good company. Sad that we will miss this years Spring trip, but we will be having our baby who will be starting the BWCA tradition with us! Can't wait to show him the beauty up there.

Man, what a great trip! Hammocks, Friends, fishing, good food, epic scenery, calm canoes without engines. This is the sort of vacation I love. I'd prefer that over any 5 star resort. Thanks Marine.

I am 11 days recuperating from a pretty big spine surgery and your video was just what I needed. Maybe by fall I will be able hit the trail, stretch out in my hammock, enjoy the woods overlooking the Missouri River watching the sun come up over the Missouri Loess hills. Like you, I don’t like that some people don’t respect the beauty that God has given us. I try to leave no trace and pack out my and other peoples trash. Thank you Marine.

Hi Marine! I need to get back to hammocking so I can bump into you one if these days again! I just started my RU-vid channel…and I can relate to your video issues!!! I recorded an entire day of motovlogging footage, to learn later that NONE of my voice audio was being captured! Thanks for sharing your trip. It’s beautiful up there. I’d love to do a canoe trip up there some day! ~ Heather

If you guys ever need a shuttle or info. Please let me know. It is good hearing from you. Hope to see you guys on the next hang. I also subscribed to your channel.

So at that very campsite we noticed 2 cubs in a red pine near the thunderbox. Slowly moving down near the fire pit area we kept an eye out and sure enough there comes mom. She gruffed at the kids and they all moved on. However, the next day mom and the cubs were back. Mom smelled my canoe and laid down under someone’s hammock. We yelled at them but that just caused the cubs to climb a tree. We just stayed quiet down by the lake and the cubs finally came back down and all three left. Did get a photo of mom which is still the background on my cell phone.

How were the portages? From reading up on them it sounds like some are quite muddy. The one time i've been to BWCA was in the north and south temperance lake area. Quite rocky in that area.
@AdventureswiththeMarine

Early in the year. It can be very muddy. The Gunflint trail side oe the BWCA. Is very rocky. Some of the portages ca be a bit challenging. But well worth it. Thank you TianarTruegard for watching. I really appreciate it.

I missed Zach but thought he might be in China. Runner Now, I was looking for him. I thought your partner in the boat was not Runner. Do you prefer the Superior over Warbonnet? I like that you don’t have to fix the uq but concerned that might break a zipper or snap. Can it be repaired. What about that foot box on the Warbonnet is it a + or - if you toss & turn as I do in he waking hours? And, it looks strange w/ uq like off balance. It’s not but do you notice it catty cornered to be under you?
@AdventureswiththeMarine
@AdventureswiththeMarine 3 месяца назад
The Superior hammock is great, because you don't have to ever adjust the under quilt. But it is on the narrow side. It is great for warmth. Now the Warbonnet XLC has the built in shelf. Best storage for a hammock on the market. It is wide with a somewhat of a built in footbox. But you have to adjust the under quilt every time you get in and out. But on hot days. You can take off the under quilt and cool off. You can't do that with the Superior hammock. Everything has it's strength and weakness. Either one. You can't go wrong! Thank you Sheilahenry for watching. I always appreciate it.
