I wasn't expecting to be fully torqued at the final boss battle but here we are

Local Star Wars nerd here to answer two questions: Were the dathomir witches created yet? Yes! Dave Wolverton created the planet and its inhabitants with his novel Courtship of Princess Leia in 1994. The planet and the witches would be seen all throughout the lore after its release. Komari Vosa, the dark jedi you fight, is one or Dooku's apprentices gone psycho. Her lightsabers that you retrieve in this game are actually Assaj Ventress', we see Dooku gift them to her in Tartakovky's Clone Wars micro series. Also, as a bonus - theres a really dope short comic they made as a tie-in to this game and a fix for a particular continuity flub created by the prequels, called Jango Fett: Open Seasons. Its all about his upbringing and his history with the Mandalorians. Its pretty darn great, and you can unlock the comic in the game. The author was Hayden Blackmen, who also wrote the incredible Battle of Jabiim comic arc found in Republic, but most famously was the lead for The Force Unleashed.

This game was one of my favorite games as a kid. Such a great power fantasy and excellent use of the Star Wars license. I went back and played it a little recently and yes the controls are really bad by modern standards but I think it still holds up as an excellent game. I can keep hoping for a modern remaster.

Witches of Dathomir and Nightsisters was from an early 90s book, Courtship of Princess Leia. They popped up in a bunch of EU stuff before Kate Lucas wrote the Nightsisters episodes for the tv show. But I'm pretty sure this boss isn't a witch or Nightsister, she's just a rogue Jedi.

This game gave you i frames though. Due to the armor for some reason against blasters. Lmao. Spam the dodge enough and you would take one or two blaster damage or none depending until you could regain sightline or whatever. Game was nuts and super fun to play completely. Would gladly always play it again trying to perfect it, or get every single bounty alive or dead depending on which game story i wanted for Jango. Lol
