Here’s a thought. How about a homage to the JHS “He’s got the box” stinger with a Hello Sailer “He’s got the knobs” version? Way beyond my capabilities to do, but maybe somebody else fancies taking it on 🤔

G'day Joe, Thanks for another great, enjoyable video. It was very imformative, but I want to add to your skyhook comment. The Skyhooks were a glam rock band in Australia, from the 1970's. Their big album was titled "Living In The 70's". Half of the songs on the album were banned for radio play, and the other half were big hits. If you want to listen to them though, I would recommend you find the song called "Women In Uniform" - I'm not going to say that you'll like it, but I think that you'll get a kick out of it. There's also the travel-tower repair where I needed a skyhook, but I'll leave that for another day. Keep up the good work Andrew

Hello mate, I really like Switch electronics or Mouser for new components. For the old stuff I like to salvage old Radios. I recommend the Roberts R200 as you get at least 4 usable germanium transistors. I would love to see what your project ends up like. I absolutely love the five cats pedals stuff.

Mechanical engineer here. I like to tie 2 lesser resistors together in an inverted V shape when I don't have the exact value but as with your oversized one they usually don't quite equal what I'm looking for. The important thing for people to remember is the tolerance of your average parts can be 10-20% so if you can get reasonably close it'll be fine. I leave an air gap under my components too btw 🫡
