BOWFISHING UTAH LAKE
It's that time of year again! Easter Sunday found my fiance and I out at Utah Lake on our first bowfishing outing of the season. It wasn't our best shoot, but with the warm weather in the forecast the next month should have them fired up!

just wondering what you do with the carp? you can get a lot carp from utah lake, just wondering what you do with it once you're outta there

I used to haul them off the lake for fertilizer/bear bait, now I just "finish" them and pop their air bladder so they sink and turn into fish food. Basically recycle them back in the lake.

Jeffrey Brown thanks for watching man! We spent most of our time along the east side. If you can find some flooded vegetation, you'll find fish. Spawn should be starting up in the next few weeks!

So I shot around 40 carp today at Utah lake. After I shot my biggest carp of the day I set my bow down to get my phone for some pics. Then the fucker decides to flop all over my bow and it broke my Victory arrow rest. So I need to get a new rest I'm just not sure what rest to get. Can you help me out??

XxVeNoMxX really any of the shallows where the water is about 1-2 feet deep. We shoot the west side of the lake a lot

Chaz VanTassell I went out to a local spot here in Logan area and I got 10. My girlfriend lives in Salt Lake and I want to take her to Utah Lake but I dont know any areas. Like what marinas

Try Lindon Marina and the Provo Bay aka "mud lake" area eaither one of those usually offers decent shooting

Mason Morris we shot most of the fish in this on the east side, there's a bunch of flooded vegetation all over the lake that they're moving into getting ready to spawn. Not long now!

Jeffrey Brown not really lol most of this was shot in the Provo bay area just walking the shoreline. We just drive around the lake looking for active carp in the shallows
