I actually bowled at this very bowling alley back in the day! They had two lanes roped off so that the public couldn't use them. They had all the "Bowling for Dollars" logos, advertising and the lanes themselves were in pristine condition.
Older days but it's just not safe to let the world know people's actual home address? Hard to comprehend and I used to keep my front door unlocked back then. Not now
I had the same thought. Of course, there was a company back then that published a book with almost everyone's address and phone number in it and they gave it away free every year.
this is from Canada. i remember picking this version up in the late 70s on Channel 42 (by pointing the antenna in the general direction of Pt. Huron) (when the intro was similar to the version used on WDIV at that time)
@@AdamJ617 No, during the Early 70’s, when the Los Angeles Lakers were on KTLA Channel 5 - Los Angeles, The Voice of the Lakers, Chick Hearn was The Host for Bowling for Dollars here in Los Angeles.
There will be a reboot of Bowling For Dollars on CBC in 2030 where the jackpot starts at $2,500 and it will add $250 each time if a person doesn't get three strikes and it will keep adding money until somebody wins the Bowling For Dollars jackpot, just like it happens when contestant(s) won over $10,000 since the 1990's
