Bowling Green by Geoffrey Beene Fragrance Review (1986) 

Well done review, Joy! I'm so old, I remember when this came out. Everyone wore this outdoors and Grey Flannel at the office. So you are absolutely right. When it was discountinued, I was so disappointed. Thank goodness they brought it back.

I own this fragrance! It's beast mode citrus green, with a light the old school barber shop twist. Well worth the money. Also, Joy I own The orginal Grey Flannel. And it's very animalic and musky at the top. But I do enjoy the dry down. This house has a flanker Eau de grey flannel. It's actually very good. This juice is aquatic blue colored. Very good! I would love to see you review that one. Geoffery Bean line is affordable, and beast mode. Keep painting those fragrance pictures my friend:)

I have it and it's a great classic fragance in every aspect.Very good projection and longevity from this cheapy gem.Opening is bursts of lemons and raw orange but after 10 minutes u can feel the lingering smell of freshness of spring seasons morning atmosphere from a garden full of bergamot lemon flowers.A true classic timeless fragrance.A very stronger version of old days TATAS EAU DE COLOGNE but with some sweetness.Very good fragrance to wear outdoor in the months from Feb end to mid april in my opinion as its smell reminds me the morning freshness in atmosphere during this time. period.

This reminds me of a greener Drakkar Noir
