Hey Damian. Just great. You got the gift of showing and talking about the beauty of nature. Spiritual. Earthy. Celtic. It's an invitation to get to know yourself from the guts, being in the wild. To reflect. To understand. To know. You're not a warm weather wanderer; you're a RU-vid bridge to others so that we can see, experience and then get out there, to do it for ourselves, because, it is after all, "where it's at". Truly. And you're a right laugh too! Love it!
Well put Nick. Damian is quite the chap, Always great watching his videos. You forgot hard core, bivy & a tarp is all he needs. Not to mention he has a Purdy mouth too lol
Dear Fell Wanderer... Any RU-vid producer who mentions his/her trolls is wasting their own and viewers' time and energy; there will always be trolls, because the good works which they comment on, reduce their own inadequacies, through the attention which their comments gain; do not fall into that trap. The haters and detractors do not define you; you do; your growing viewership does. This video is magnificent. Your time-lapse scenery and music is off the scale in outright skill and appeal. You work reflects your love of England and your commitment to the outdoor pursuit of a healthy lifestyle. I am proud to know you through your work. I thank you for it. Great job! :)
Another quality video, Damien. I always enjoy following your travels. The scenery, your sense of humour and the wild camping keep me coming back. Keep enjoying what you do.
Your videos are getting better and better to the point now they play out with expert quality and direction. Never stop posting your vids and I will never stop watching John.....Enniskillen.
Watched every one of your videos, never commented, but now its time, you are the most entertaining You Tuber of all, don't know what it is but I just chill watching your videos, you do what I and many others wish we could do more of. For gods sake keep the videos coming more frequently, if you can find the time, forget the trolls and know it alls just delete them with a smile on your face, that's what I do, for every idiot troll you have a hundred fans, talk is cheap, you walk the walk, your channel is by far the most entertaining bushcraft/outdoors channel I have watched and I've seen them all. Keep up the good work Damien and don't let the losers get you down, you have inspired me and I guess many others to get out and about and I thank you for that. Keep the videos coming.
Another beautiful offering! Love the way you share the gorgeous scenery and keep things simple. So many of these kinds of videos are all about the expensive equipment, but you always manage to make a feast out of simple grocery store offerings and candle wax! LOL
Just keep those videos coming Damian. People want to see them all dont worry about repeating yourself, also don't worry about repeating yourself , cheers Paul
I could just watch and listen to you all day lol I love the way you take things on the cheap side. I always said you don't need a fancy gear and army food to have a great time. When I was a kid i used to go camping with old sheet of plastic from my mums green house, Ax tin of fish.and bit of bread. Believe or not one if the best camping trips I ever had. Great video brother! Keep up!
What can I say that hasn't already been said your great to watch you put a smile on my face when I watch your videos your time lapses are superb a lot of work has been put in thanks for sharing your adventures and keep them coming Cheers
great stuff, I know what you mean, from one wanderer to another, the thrill of waking up on a mountain and seeing a sight that most people would never dream of is what its all about. More need to get out into the beauty that is our countryside. Well done mate.
Don't be a worrying about no Trolls. Most of them would soil their drawers if they had to fend in the woods over night!😣 Great video and that's some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen any where! Looking forward to your next adventure!!!!
very nice I always enjoy watching your vedoes this is no exception it's very beautiful there I appreciate you for taking your time to bring this to us until next time my friend
Good to see you back, bonnie lad. I much prefer your solo camping videos. You talk more when you're by yourself, and your passion for your hobby and your surroundings comes through. Great stuff.
Awesome views Damian. You & Davey need to go back to the creepy woods for a night & look for bigfoot. Thank You for sharing your video & bringing us along. ATB
Great vids mate, your the best on the tube, lovely scenery, good laugh,u and the yeti.cant stop watching you over and over, keep em coming, you're doing a great job and loving it.🤘
Cheers Damian, That was a brill video. I tell you what, I won't be the only one who thinks this... You're an inspiration! Your videos make me want to go and enjoy the great outdoors even more and particularly wild camping. Thanks for that. Also thanks for your patience in filming. It makes your videos different and rewarding to watch. Keep it up!
By the way, I love the history aspect of your videos. The more the better. And the U.K. is full of history. Not to mention, natural landscapes and anything unusual or famous. So that opens a lot of avenues for you.
John makes some decent video's and with the lakes on his doorstep should visit there more often as it is such a beautiful place. I use Google Earth to sus out new camping spots and street view for places to park the car. There are some hidden places in the Lakes which are real gems once you find them, ATB.
Great informative content, and I’m sure AW would of approved ,as he was a devotee of native woodland .niceone Marra ,great footage of classic Lakeland 👍
Brilliant Video Damien. Loved every bit of it.. very clever camera work and editing you are a skilled man in more ways than one. Slo mo, time lapse, night, dawn it had the lot.. Inspired me for my next vid in the Highlands. I have done a few vids now and I think each one I have improved. Its right what you say about what to do can sometimes be a bit samey.. I have found that, always thinking about new ideas.. always enjoy your solo trips.. so what if its good weather, forget the Neg heads just tossers. Keep up the good work.. PS if you get a chance have a look at some at my efforts all comments and tips greatly received ATB Steve :)

I watch one of these every night and its brilliant I really enjoy it and it’s something different, keep them coming mate and f”!k the bad comments! 🤟 you know it makes sense!
Great camera work really enjoyed it. Your right do what you enjoy and live life. Being alone for 24hours does make you appreciate things in life, that may normally take for granted
Great video Damien. Excellent timelapses you have great patience doing the full night to day one. Excellent views. It's all about them. Good rant I hate trolls but now that I have my regulars I just shrug them off 👎🏻. Ennerdale was ruined when Caine dingle came back Booosh. Look forward to the next adventure. I'll be bivvying again this year. Mebbe see ya there atb mate
Hi Andy. I stayed up most of the night to capture the transitions between night and day, ( the gopro's settings wont automatically stretch between the two extremes so it has to be manual mode and lots of patients setting it up and reajusting for each new moment in time. I'm sure we will be out soon again my friend can't wait for the next one, ATB, Damian.
This is definitely where it's at. I've seen pretty much all your videos now Damien and this in my opinion is the best by far. beautifully edited, stunning scenery and content that had me interested from start to finish. great timelapses by the way. Thanks for the upload. can't wait for the next instalment . ATB Paul
video is spot on. Lovely place where you camped mate off the beaten track by the looks not too high awesome. High end tents have never failed me mate reason why I bought a hilleberg for summit camping 85mph it's been out in and still as strong as knew. Hard-core sleeping open in long grass mind am too scared of the little nastys. Ticks are all over long grass and wood lands and they don't bring happiness. Keep safe look forward to the next one.
Hi Muss, I've never heard anything bad about Hilleberg tents apart from they are pricey but you get quality for the money. I would be worried about testing even a good tent in strong winds as it only takes a tent stake to come loose and start flapping in the night and it would surely get damaged. Nice to see your uploading again, John tells me he's been giving you some motivation to get back out and we all sometimes get into a rut where RU-vid is concerned, I sometimes go out and don't film anything because I can't be arsed lol.. anyway good to hear from you, ATB
mr robson - you really are a terrific inspiration to us 'arm-chair' campers. i have watched a number of these videos that you have kindly shared with everyone. i'm gonna give this bivy outing a go at the first opportunity :) thanks for sharing. p.s. "soft in tha heed" ... i don't think anything could be further from the truth. i'd say the reverse is true.
I'd thumb up your comment, but I don't wait for the evening. That said, in the still of the night, these videos and others like them are powerful and enjoyable. :)
Damian that was cracking on every level and you come across like a very genuine and decent fella so I wouldn't worry too much about the negative comments. ATB Steve
brilliant vid Damien,im a long time subber and enjoy all youre vids, but this was great, the time lapses and editing were excellent, thanks for sharing mate,cheers.......johny
Great video Fell always in awe of the beauty you have there. Here in Upper Michigan it's woods every where you look woods there are some nice areas here but nothing like where your at. (not whining) lol just in awe. Atb- Andy
Cracking video Damian. Really looking forward to the spring now and seeing videos like this makes me even more so. The forcast next week is stupidly cold, then I’m hoping we start to see little changes. It’s been a long winter. Not long now and we’ll be somewhere on the wannie mate for the early rise. lol. Going to go to McDermott’s in the next week or so and sort my permit out. Cheers. John.
