Happens around 5:30 I came here looking for something like this! My dog just did this, amd I thought it might be a seizure. Scared the crap out of me (I am going to be taking her to the vet!)

My dog had epilepsy and it sadly killer her within 1.5 years after her first seizure. Once she was hospitalised for 4 days then last time she had about 15 in a row and would have kept going but vets said even if we paid for them to bring her out she would have already been brain dead and it wasn’t fair to keep her suffering bless her❤️❤️

as it happens make sure to comfort him and talk to him in a calm manner, if you don’t panic he won’t. you need to go to the vet to get this seen to, quite a few boxers foam at the mouth with things like this. but go to the vet and show the footage to them.

my dog also has seizures, she already has a medicine for it that she needs to take everyday as her maintenance. its so hard and frustrating and heartbreaking when you cannot do anything while they're having the attacks. after so many tests we found out that she has liver problems -mainly she doesn't flush out the toxins in her body like normal dogs do. she needs to take antibiotic from time to time because she'll always get an infection (even if we treat her like a baby). she also has vitamins and she drinks laxative just to help flush the toxins away. She has a special food diet which is hepatic. She doesn't go outside-though we take her outside from time to time just to give her fresh air, but we carry her because she's not used to it. this special creatures needs extra love from us.. hard at times because its costly, but i wouldn't change it. -dog momma

My dog used to have sudden seizures out of nowhere. I went on a mission to try to avoid the triggers. Changed his food and also added taurine to his diet. (I feed him fresh homemade meats and cooked veggies, mct oil, limited kibble.) It took me over a year to document and watch for whatever might have been causing these. Basically removing anything with glutamates (there are various forms of it in dog food) and feeding homemade was the ticket. And the taurine.

so sad :( i wish dogs never felt this pain

As a dog owner I always had fears of my dog having a seizure and it was terrifying my dog then started having continuous seizures until we had to put her down it was sad to see her go through pain like this and we wanted her to be happy and not suffer here with us now she can live in peace R.I.P Bella Rose

Ain't no expert, been a shelter volunteer for years. The ticks started and the seizure, I hope you're taking him to the vet, 10 times in 24 hours is a lot, sorry he has to suffer!

Read comments and just gave me hopes. I have a 7.yo lab. He had heatstroke just a month ago and now after one week of medication he is experiencing seizures worst than this. Those episodes really break my heart 😭 praying that seizures will end or somehow be minimized.

So I collected by the end of the video that you weren't purposefully triggering these seizures with keyboard sounds but there has been a link found between certain sounds or other sensory input (light etc) that commonly is a trigger for seizures in cats and dogs. One of which was keyboard clicking sounds. I have a dog I'm worried may be experiencing very mild seizures which is why I watched your video. My dad has a cat that suffers from grand mal seizures and I did allot of research on natural remedies and causes which is how I came across the findings from the trigger seizure in let's study. Just a thought. I hope your dog is doing better.

Omg I m so sorry but thank you, r dog is having same right now and never had anything like it. He is a 7 ur old boxer. He had one full blown body shaking teeth clinching seizure and now having these facial seizures. At ER vet again now.

Hey bro you buddy looks like hes having a seizure he needs to go to the vet ASAP if you haven't taken him already they have 5 or 6 different meds they can try on him one thing you can do is dime your lights and if it happens on the floor gentle move him away from anything that he can hurt himself on it breaks my heart to see him in that bad way best of luck hope you find a cure for this

That's exactly what my sweetheart is doing. He's nine years old and has a vet appointment tomorrow. Can you please tell me what medication or treatment you may have had luck with? Or if there has been any success in treatment? I love my son and am terrified for him, he seemed confused and frightened afterwards, like he didn't recognize us or know where he was. My dog has the exact same seizure. It's called Focal seizure. You should be taking the dog to a vet to be checked. My dog ended up getting into a cycle that lasted almost 4hrs of doing the exact same thing as this poor dog is doing in this video. Seizure meds will be subscribed.

Our dog starting doing this last Thursday, he's had two now. Exposed teeth, chomping, drooling, foaming. Right now we're just keeping an eye on him but if he continues the vet will put him on meds.

My older boxer did this a few weeks before we had to put him down unfortunately last summer. It was so heartbreaking to watch. And I didnt know what to do but comfort him during the ones I witnessed. One of them he was on his dog bed next to my dresser and as he started seizing I had to move him away from the dresser to avoid him hitting his head. I'm sorry. I hope he feels better soon. I hear CBD oils do wonders. Just wish we knew about it sooner :(

my boxer did the foaming 3 years ago. she was 3 and was having a stroke i’m pretty sure. def if your dog starts doing similar things go to a vet asap

What is that terrible noise in the background??? Ugh! It will stress out the dog which can bring it on, instead of possibly calming the dog. Taking the time to have quiet and just reassuring them, petting them, having a wet cloth for their face will help. CBD oil has been shown to be much less toxic to dogs and humans for seizures than the pheno and others.

this is exactly what my girl does and i can never catch it to show her vet. she is on meds but they don’t seem to stop these type of seizures.

Did this start for him with small signs? My boxer is 2 and it seems like his mouth gets stuck sometimes and he salivates like crazy. Wondering if that may be a warning sign.

My dogs head was shaking to the side this morning and couldn’t get up but she wasn’t foaming at the mouth. When she did get up my dogs head was still shaking her head to the side it scared me.

He’s in what’s called status epilepticus where he needs urgen veto art attention cos if he keeps going he will end up brain dead. Trust me been through it all before it’s heartbreaking❤️

My boxer is having focal seizures and having panting spells. Also the keppra he was put on is making him sleep non stop and when hes awake he is like a zombie. Zones out. Un aware of his surroundings. He is wobbly when he walks. He isnt the same dog on this medicine and it makes me so sad.

My dog is 8 and has suddenly started doing this. She seems to have had 1 grand mal seizure last night and 5 so far today like those in your video. Otherwise she is totally fine and playing as normal and the vets agreed this morning. What would you recommend to do next, is there anything that helped you stop this for Bronco?

It looks like she is chewing, with a little head shaking, plus drooling from the mouth. Not really foaming like your dog. I'm trying to figure this out.
