this is a great reason for any collector out there to inventory and pare down what you own, to make a will and to only keep what you enjoy at any given time and rotate the rest out and make yourself some money. Its a shame that peoples lives are reduced to boxes in a storage locker that someone who never knew you just buys and rummages through. Nope, just part with what doesn't serve you anymore and YOU benefit from the collection. Dont let others do it and benefit from either your death or some financial downturn that resulted in you losing all your stuff. Inventory, catalogue, research and sell continuously,

Wade and Ashley I wish you all the best with this unit! It's obviously going to be a lot of work to sort but also fun looking through it . Just a quick thought if possible sell them in groups eg dinosaur, super heros cartoon characters maybe small items. Could be a cheap one for the kids to buy.👍🏻

Not trying to be a negative-Nelly but there's not much in what I'm seeing. If you have access to a year-round outdoor flea market, or know someone who does the circuit, I would try that. I see a lot of 50 cent or a dollar items. You plug away diligently at that, you'll make a good profit on your $1,000 investment, but it's going to take years, not day or months. Like..everything I saw is very low money. The plush has to have some age, and has to be supremely clean. Even then, the comps might say XX but you'll have a very, very, difficult time selling for that. And it takes up a lot of space. Some of it is very low money, some of it is zero money. Like the stuff kicking around the bottom of the 10 cent bin at a church rummage sale. I hope as you get deeper you find some true vintage that'll make your $$ back fast so you can wade into this other "stuff" over time.

Any Vintage Care Bear items are highly collectable. For valuing plush I would recommend The Rebel Reseller. Her videos are all about plush. She's also highly knowledgeable on Fisher Price and many other vintage toys from the 1970s to present. I would suggest selling lots of similar items such as Matchbox and Hot Wheels. Don't overlook the plush or other toys that were "dusty" as they may be older and have more value. I personally think that most Disney is not that valuable since they are so over overproduced.

My dad would love the hot wheels! We bought some at a yard sale a few years back. But because we live in a travel trailer all of our belonging have been put in storage. Unfortunately someone broke into our store and stole his hot wheels along with so much of our valuables. I’d like to buy them for him.

After viewing this video, the only High dollar items I could see were the mint in package wrestlers, mint in box/package diecast cars and trucks, and the unopened framed pictures. The only non packaged items I saw that might have value were the plush ALF and Boyds bear. The rest of that plastic, plush, and played with stuff with no packaging might be worth anywhere from a quarter to 50 cents per item (all I'd be willing to pay). Anyways, the mint in package wrestlers (could be worth anywhere from $5 to $50 each), new unopened framed pictures (i'd say they are worth about $12 each), and unopened diecast (anywhere from $5-$15 each) are the pieces you'll make the most money. The comics might be worth $1 each. Good luck digging through the rest of it. Hope you find some more High Dollar toys and collectibles.

A good rule of thumb with comics is most comics printed in the 90's, what you found, were extremely overprinted, and so they hold very little value. There will be exceptions of course, but not many. This rule also applies to sports cards and action figures from that era.

I would consider not doing a lot of thermoses although I know people collect them but would they be more profitable in a themed group like a Care Bear or Spider-Man lot?

The James Bond car used to have a passenger ejector seat When you pressed the trigger the roof flew off and the passenger flew out - which is why you’re missing both I think a bullet proof shield came up at the back and there were machine guns under the headlights
