Once again, a lovely review :D! Once you properly fit top and back of the head laces, you won't need to untie it everytime, just use the clip to take on and off. I like slimmer profile of the Winning headgear. Reyes's is good, but in my opinion the bar sticks out more.

Thank you for your review. All your reviews are extremely helpful. I was considering getting the UMA face saver after seeing your review on that head guard until I went to a fight shop a few days ago to pick up some new gloves and wound up trying on different headgear, including the Cleto Reyes pointed face bar. I have an angular face and it fit like it was made for my dome. It was compact, comfortable and had great vision. I figured I couldn't go wrong with either the UMA or Cleto Reyes and because so much comes down to fit, I bought it on the spot.

I've been following your channel for some time. Thanks for the great reviews and the informative videos. This is an old video but I just picked up this headgear, but I am wondering if I should go with the Winning facebar. I broke my nose sparring before and I want to spare and not get a bloody/broken nose. Will the Cleto Reyes protect my nose or should I go for the Winning?

the lace on the winning are better they conform to your head & really hold on it. the best head guard in my opinion would be the winning f2900 with the cheek protectors it's like wearing a facebar one but with great vision.

I actually like the cleto Reyes headgear much better. It isn't as wide imo as the winning. price also is a great Consideration, add to the fact that the cleto leather is damn phenominal

+Fit2Box Channel I actually did the same, except I had the red one, the all white looks great and the leather, it's the cleto leather that is amazing! on most forums and other social media where they discuss gear, cleto almost always wins in the leather department....hands down the best imo in those regards....and yes I can't see how people see the winning facebar being slimmer than cleto.....only way I can see that is if they're comparing it to the other cleto facebar and not the "traditional" style like the one in your video.

hey, just went through a bunch of your reviews, thank you for this. I have the cleto reyes and sometimes the bar hits me in the nose with a good straight. I've had one surgery before and 5 broken noses lol. Was looking at the UMA but wanted to hear your view on which one is better for face protection and how they compare with vision. Was also thinking about the Ringside 2.0 gel.

@@Adam-gt5jf How are you finding it now? I've had nose surgery because the injury affected my airflow. Deffo don't want to undo the surgery but want to spar again. Surgeon said probs best hang up the gloves.

I have the new re designed Reyes head gear and when I get hit with a jab on the bar the bar hits my lip it hurts I wish they would have put more padding on the inside of the bar

Leon Isr Hi there, thank you for the kind words , I really appreciate it The pointed Reyes headguard in the video is my favourite Reyes headguard I don't like the 'rounded bar'' version I don't think you can press the Reyes in at the sides The pointed version is for angular faces and mine fit fine with lace(top) Velcro (rear)and buckle (chin)adjustment There was no need for side adjustment as it was was quite snug to my head anyway👊🏼👍🏼

Can you tell me what's better between this facebar headgear, the cleto Reyes cheek protection, or the classic training one. I Dont know which one to get I need good protection and good fit

Just had surgery on my nose for septal hematoma and have a deviated septum. I’d like to train and spar but the slightest touch to the nose right now is terrible and could set back recovery. Do you think this headgear would protect the nose in a way that it won’t be touched? Or will the bar still push on it?

A face bar headguard isn’t part of your defence whilst they do give great protection a hard blow could still touch your nose if the headguard is not correctly fit so my advice it work on your hand defence and head movement then you will greatly reduce the chances - I think ultimately you may have to leave sparring for a while let the surgery heal

Hi fit2 box, I just got one of these head gears on the mail, it is extremely tight on my cheek bones under my eyes. Is this normal or do you think the head gear is too small for my head?

Lachlan Cummings these headguards are better for angular faces if it is really tight that does sound like it is too small especially if you have opened up the lace at the top and the Velcro is fastened looser you may have to go winning fg5000 or check out my noble FS1 videos👊🏼👍🏼

I've had the cleto Reyes headgaurd for about a year now, but I'm still getting banged in the nose and getting nose bleeds. Should the bar be just below the nose?, or should I wear it higher up so the bar covers the nose?, I have tried wearing it both ways but I'm not sure which position is correct.

Sounds like you need more work in your hand defences , head movement The bar shouldn’t be hitting the nose is it fitted properly

K.s.a K.s.a I think one size fits all The pointed bar I would say is for slimmer more angular faces The rounder bar would suit people with rounder faces👊🏼👍🏼
