He also tried to make the fight happen again after that in 2012 and manny turned it down again because he didn’t want to take 40 mill. Now if Floyd was to turn down a contract from manny for ANY reason at all, he would be scared, ducking, and suspected of using steroids by refusing tests. He would’ve been dragged thru the mud talking bout “if he so good then why he need more money? Why not jus take the money and fight him? If he ain’t using no drugs, why he refusing the tests? Yes boxing fights that fans WANT to see take longer to happen n rarely don't happen at all because in boxing the promotion is behind the fighter where as ufc the fighter is behind the promotion and each is protecting their brand. If ufc had 10 major competitors who collab between their respective fighters to make dream matches you'd see the same thing happen in mma too because it would cost a whole lot more to risk your brand every time you go into a fight!
