This boxy bag / pouch could be used as a lunch bag or swim bag if made using PUL waterproof fabric for lining and, perhaps, oilcloth for the exterior.
It is a simple technique and, as usual, you should be able to make changes according to your preferences
The finished bag measures 6” x 12” x 5 ½”

MATERIALS:
MAIN FABRIC:
For outside of bag: 2 pieces 18” x 12”
For handles: 2 pieces: 4” x 31”
For outside pocket, 1 piece 6” x 5” and 1 piece 6” x 7 ¾”
LINING FABRIC:
For body of the bag: 2 pieces 18” x 12”
For internal pocket: 2 pieces 11 ½” x 5”
You will also need:
Enough fusible stabilizer for both pieces of main fabric that make the body of the bag.
1 zipper longer than 12”, mine was 16” long.
Firm fusible interfacing for the handles, OPTIONAL.
